My Favorite Products Of 2012

Heeeey,

before I never do this post, I'll do it now ;)

So these are basically the products/goodies I liked using the most in 2012. Kind of a lot, most of them you've seen in previous posts, others I probably need to swatch and talk a bit more about ;)

FOR THE EYES & FACE

Urban Decay 15th anniversary palette
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
Sleek Oh So Special palette
Maybelline color tattoo #40 Permanent taupe
Urban Decay Mary Jane
Maybelline Quads in #40 Green With Envy (in Europe available under #22 Bronze Drama) & #50 Taupe Temptress

My Zoeva Metallic Stones palette that inclueds like every shade of color and is very pigmented :) Now this one I really need to swatch for you soon!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in #884 Light
Catrice gel eyeliner
Laura Mercier Oil free foundation primer
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in "Eden"
Maybelline master drama khol liner in "Ultra Black"
Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express mascara
YSL Rouge Volupté #1
Clinique chubby stick in #04 Mega Melon
Maybelline Super Stay 24 color in #510 Red Passion (the one from the commercial)
Bobbi Brown Pink Quarz shimmer brick compact
Benefit "Coralista" blush
Nars "Orgasm" blush

Benefit Hello Flawless in "Honey"
Flomar Mat touch in #M308 Far Ivory & #M306 Pastelle and Flomar Pervect Coverage foundation in #102 Soft Beige

The flomar foundations work so perfectly for my skin, this not so known brand totally convinced me, I'm practically using only these althought I have high brand foundations in my storage I prefer these. They are available at Douglas (a german perfumery) for 10€.

FOR THE HAIR

BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue sealed ends
treatment for damaged ends
BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue shampoo
for damaged hair
Wella Brilliance mask
for fine to normal, colored hair

These 3 products in combination with each other, are soooooo amazing. My hair used to be damaged a lot for quite a time, since I colored them from blond back to dark, especially the ends. The ends were like damaged all the time and it was hard to hide it, but since I started using these products a few weeks ago my hair feels like totally recovered. I already noticed a difference after the 2nd time using them. I am so fascinatied by these products that I'll keep buying them even if they cost about 45€ all together. It's worth it!

FOR NAILS

Now this was a hard choice since I would have another 20 if I could have... but I reduced it to these 14.

First row:
Seche Vite topcoat - Barry M. croco nail effect - Barry M. #239 Lavender - Barry M. #297 Blue Glitter - Kiko #341 - Manhatten #96S - Manhatten #81R
Second row:
Estée Lauder #26 Metallic Sage - Nicole by OPI "It starts with me" - butter London "Rosie Lee" - Catrice #840 Genius in the bottle - Chanel #531 Peridot - OPI "Warm & Fozzie" - Nicole by OPI "Prized Possession Purple"

I reviewed and swatched all of these polishes last year, so you can find more informations when you look under the labels! ;)

May 2013 be a good year for new goodies!!!!

Here I go again!

Bye bye,

Sleek & Barry M. Haul!!!

Hi my lovely bloggers,

First of all: Thank you so much I can't believe I have already over 20.000 views.
That's a LOT! If I would get for every view 1 € I could already afford a good car :)
and thank you even more for all your lovely comments I always get! I read them all ;)

So let's move to what this post really is about. Finally my package arrived today, I ordered last week and it should have been here on Monday or Tuesday, so I was close to freak out and thought it got lost.

I ordered 3 new Sleek palettes (so now I have 6 in total), the Sleek contour kit and 2 beautiful Barry M. nail polishes!

This is NOT a review, I haven't tested these products yet, as they arrived today, this is only my haul presentation!!!!!!!

From L to R:

So now I also owe Sleek i-Divine "ultra mattes V2 darks", Sleek divine "Oh So Special" and Sleek divine "Bad Girl".
Also I bought the Sleek Face Contour Kit in "Light" and Barry M. #297 Blue Glitter + Barry M. Lilac Foil.

So this is the Sleek i-Divine "ultra mattes Vs darks" palette:

It's a brand new palette by Sleek and that was one of the main reasons I ordered again some Sleek stuff. So as the name says it already, they are really matt. And I don't owe a lot of matt eyeshadows so this needed to join my little army.

I think I already have chosen a favorite, Maple looks pretty good to me :)

Sleek divine "Bad Girl":

Those colors look also really great to me, I wear more dark shadows than bright colors so this palette also made it into the basket.
Favorite colors: probably Twilight, Rebel and Gun Metal.

Sleek divine "Oh So Special":

Really beautiful colors! I tried to order this palette some months ago but made a mistake and ordered twice another one -.-" Luckily a friend of mine took it. So now this one finally found it's way to me.

I think I love the glitter shadows the most: Organza, Gift Basket, Glitz, Celebrate & Gateau but also does the first one Bow look good to me.

Sleek face contour kit:

I already saw some reviews about this product but was too afraid to order it as the contouring color seemed so dark and I thought it would look just awful on me, even if this is the "Light" kit!
But then I saw the applying of it in one of the pixiwoo sisters video and thought that this could also work out for me and so we'll see…

Barry M. #297 Blue Glitter + Barry M. Lilac Foil:

I'm welcoming this new little soldiers with arms wide open ^^ I think I don't have to say more about these two, the names say it all.
Let the fun begin…

Thanks for tuning in ;)

Barry M. Lavender over Catrice Lucky in Lilac!!!

It's beem almost a week since my last post but here I am again with a new one, showing you the nail art I've been wearing some days ago.

If you are reading my blog often you might have find out that I love purple and so it's not very surprising to see my nails purple again :) I can't stop myself sometimes.

That's what I'm talking about:

(SORRY FOR MY SKIN)

I used one coat of Catrice's Lucky in Lilac #130 and then two coats of Barry M. Lavender #239

The price of both polishes is amazing, almost 3€ for the Catrice polish and as I remember 5,50€ for the Barry M. polish.
The formula of Catrice is really great with a long thin brush, so has the same Barry M. but the formula is a bit different as you probably have figured out using a glitter polish. It's just a bit difficult to place the little plates equally on the finger nail, you need to be patient but it's worth the result ;)
Lucky in Lilac is a pretty violet color that has a good coverage so you just need one coat as base.
Barry M. Lavender is a transparent polish/topper with little purple/lavender plates that are kind of foil and sometimes have a pink reflection but besides that there are also little silver glitter points that you can see on the last picture a bit! I LOVE this polish...

If I had to describe these nail look the best I would probably say it's like wearing a PURPLE DISCO BALL on your nails :D
I got so many compliments for this look, I was surprised myself. Definitely gonna repeat this look.

Also I think it's pretty cool for Easter ;)

Thanks for reading!

And don't forget to enter my Butter London Giveaway!!!

Barry M.s Croco Effect Shatter!!!

Hey my fashionistas,

Take a look at this amazing piece of art!

Barry M.'s Nail Paint Croco Effect Nail Polsih!!!!

I already showed you a little sneak peek last week when I had it only over my ringfinger (Here) and so here is the whole review!

First step:

You need a base color!
I went with Sleek's Nailed polish Millionaire #39, because I thought it's just the perfect color to get real croco nails, and because of the shining of the color that you can still see even with the croco effect polish over it ;)
But you can of course chose whatever color and brand you want, I just suggest you a yellow, gold, orange or green base color!

I just love this color ^^ but I could just apply one coat of it, because the croco polish doesn't work very well on more coats but I'll show you the whole beautiness of this color in another review. Promised!

So back to the instructions:

Step 1: I used Sleek's Millionaire #39 as chosen nail varnish.
Step 2: It's really really really important that you apply the croco effect polish over TOUCH DRY polished nails!!!!!! It's not working over dried polish, they'll just be black. So as said above wait 1-2 minutes then apply the croco polish ;)
Step 3: Apply a THIN coat of Croc Nail Effect!
Step 4: I'd say the effect will start after 5 minutes not 3 minutes like on the bottle. But time doesn't matter. It's such an interesting process to observe that it's worth waiting every single minute.

MORE PICS

Artifical light - I don't know why there are some little
scratches on two of my nails, it must be my I-Phone -.-"

Daylight - Naturel light:

I espcially love the effect on my thumb, it's practically like the bottle cap but the other designs are amazing too. You actually never know how it will turn out.
It's a surprise nail polish LOL

With flash:

Sorry for my skin! I know I should stop abusing it xD

DON'T FORGET TO USE A TOPCOAT OVER IT ;)

Soooo this is a really great, amazing, fascinating and making other people jealous polish ;P

Pros: It's available for only 5 € (I ordered mine on kosmetik4less.de)
Cons: If the result is not turning well you have to start from the beginning.

So what do you think of it?

BTW I you can order the Sleek polish also on the same side, for 3,99 €!

Butter London meets Sleek and Barry M.

Hiii,

Let me introduce you to Butter London's West End Wonderland.
It's a beautiful gold with orange/copper gold sparkles.
The formula is a bit thick, but okay for a glitter polish. I applied two coats of it, I found it dried quickly and was easy to work with.

So this were made with flash light!

Here you can see it with day light:

Swatches:

Love love love - I can see myself wearing this a lot over the summer.

My ring finger:

I used Sleek's Millionaire and Barry M.'s croco effect polish :)
I thought Millionaire would be looking great with Butter London's West End Wonderland, and the croco effect look over it, is the second eyecatcher.

I'll guess I'll show you more of the Sleek Millionaire and the Barry M. croco effect polish next weekend ;) I promise a more exclusive post about these two beautiful polishes!
