U N B O X I N G!

Hello Ladies :)

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY!!!!

This post should have been up already last weekend but something went wrong, thank you Blogger for being a pain in the ass again.

I showed you already on my Instagram (@Irsada_lxbg) some days ago everything that was in the box I received from a dear friend from the USA and now I'll give you a closer look on everything. Just look at this package. It was HUGE and I still can't believe that my friend Kelly put all of this stuff in their. It really felt like birthday and Christmas on the same day. No, wait like 3x birthdays and Christmas! Lucky me for having such a great friend ^^

Just look at this! OMG It's not just a lot, it's a LOT! It also was kind of difficult to take a picture of everything together.

LORAC Eye Candy full face collection

They look like mini chocolate bars, very cute and great idea. The packaging is just beyond amazing. And when you open the box it smells AMAZING.

There are 6 little palettes, 4 eyeshadow palettes, 1 cream eye liner palette and 1 cheek & lip tint palette:

Ooh la la vanilla - nude eye shadow palette
Tantalizing cocoa - bronze eye shadow palette
Caramel love affair - golden eye shadow palette
Blackberry truffle seduction - smokey eye shadow palette
Mesmerizing dark chocolate - cream eye liner palette
Indulge in berry kisses - cheek & lip tint palette

While swatching them on the back of my hand, I noticed that there are 2-3 that almost don't show up, 2-3 that are intensily pigmented and the rest is quite ok.

TOO FACED Pretty Rebel

"Badass beauty eye shadow palette
Even pretty girls can break the rules. Be as rebel as you want to be with 10 powerful after-hours approved (and all new) shadows in the deepest jewel tones, the most vadass metallics and one scene-stealing pink"

That's exactly what I thought when I opened it. all eyeshadows have a great pigmentation, I can't decide which color I love the most, they are all quite stunning. Girly, Jailbird, Miss Sparkles take my breath away... and I only swatched them once. This is such a great palette. And the name of it says it already, BADASS approved!!!

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Tamanna palette

:D yeahhhhh another Anastasia eye shadow palette I can call my own.

ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS Maya Mia palette

And this baby is very welcome too. I love how my ABH collection is getting bigger and bigger.

LORAC The Stylist

First impression, neutral colors.

"Lorac introduces The Stylist palette, featuring a gorgeous, velvety-smooth array of 10 eye shadows plus 2 extra-large hightlighter shades. Satisfy your inner fashionista and savvy sensibility with this trendy houndstooth palette, perfect for everyday wear at an incredible value. Become your own beauty stylist with Lorac!"

SIGMA Créme de Couture

Macaron-inspired eye shadows and 3 of their blushes; blackberry essence, cherry apple & strawberry ambrosia

I think when it comes to color, there's never been a palette like this one! Ohh my... let me see what I can do with it. I swatched 3-4, they all seem to perform matte.

STILA smudge stick waterproof eye liner set

Smudge stick waterproof eye liner set/collection baguette maculage eye-liner indélébile in the colors stingray, lionfish, aubergine, navy, emerald.

TOO FACED Bonjour Soleil

"Limited edition summer bronzing wardrobe
Say bonjour to a gorgeous, golden tan with this collection of bronzing best-sellers including the matte, cocoa-powder infused cocolate soleil, the original too faced bronzer sun bunny and the luminous bronzer snow bunny."

This palette came at the right time. Spring started and summer is only around the corner :)

URBAN DECAY Face Case

Perfect for travelling or for a touch up on the run! 5 eyeshadows with UD quality, 2 blushes, 1 highlighter, 1 black eye pencil & 1 high gloss lip pencil.

Interesting, let's see...

URBAN DECAY Vice 2

This was already on my wishlist over a year ago but my friend told me the whole time not to buy it cuz she already did that, I just had to wait a bit more so that she could add a few more things to the box. :)

Picture turned out a bit blurry :( Sorry!

TOO FACED Chocolate Bar palette

And this is also one of the palettes that I couldn't wait to get my fingers on. Smells like a dream come true. Colors, never seen such colors before. Just stunning. STUNNING.

"Indulge your craving for chocolate with these 16 antioxidant-rich cocoa powder infused matte and shimmer shades, inspired by our best-selling cocoa powder based Chocolate Soleit Bronzer."

UD 24/7 glide-on double-ended eye pencil, SUGARPILL loose eyeshadow in "LUMI", THE BALM Mary-Lou manizer highlighter & NARS single eyeshadow in Persia

The Balm highlighter and the UD eye pencil were a surprise but the Lumi and Persia eyeshadows were a personal request of mine because I can't get them here at all and I've seen really great Youtube videos in which they were used.

Tried both already once out, they truely are great but I need to find out with wich other colors they work the best and then I'll let you know to which conclusion I came ;)

BTW I also got an Essie polish I always wanted but they never sold it here I guess... forgot to put it with the other stuff lol It's called Toggle to the top.

AND SOME MORE CHOCOLATE... REAL CHOCOLATE!

I'd never say no to chocolate! Chocolate is always a good idea and you can't do anything wrong when you gift it to someone.

Then I also got a cute chain with a cat pendatif on it and a rose gold handcuffs chain that looks pretty cool on.

WHAT A PACKAGE!!! I think I spend one hour or more unboxing, trying and swatching everything :D

I'm so happy over everything and I would have been as happy if I only got half of the stuff but of course I wouldn't miss a thing now that I have all this amazing stuff. It really left me spechless at the end and there are so many new eyeshadows to test but I only have 2 eyes xD hahaaaaa
It's going to be hard to beat this box! I hope this year will bring lots of new stuff on the market that I can send to my dear friend in exchange.

Next post coming in 2 days, pictures have been already taken! Stay tunned for more.

Have a nice week and enjoy the lovely weather ;)

Favorites of 2014

Hiii guys,

I put all my makeup favorites of 2014 for you together!

In the beginning of 2014 I got the Lorac Pro and a bit later the Urban Decay Naked 3. If you like a lot of neutral matte to shiny shades from light to dark then I suggest you the Lorac Pro palette and if you are more into neutral pinky colors then you need to get the Naked 3.

When it comes to highlighting and contouring, I loved the Maybelline Fit Me sticks a lot, they have a few shades from very light to very dark but if you blend them good in they can be the perfect base before you apply highlight and bronzer powder. If you scroll a bit down you can see that I reviewed these Fit Me sticks and how I use them.
I would sometimes use my Bourjouis chocolate bronzer over it and depending on how shiny I want my face to look like I would often swith from my MAC Rihanna Diamonds Frost to NYX Born to glow liquid illuminator, both are really good pigmented.
For the under eye part, in the morning when you wake up and you look like a zombie, I like to use the NARS radiant creamy concealer. This concealer is simply amazing, it works better on me than the Bourjouis healthy mix éclat & anti-fatigue correcting concealer.
And to fix, especially the under eye part, I like to use loose powder and my favorite has become the MaxFactor Ellen Betrix loose powder. I just tap my Real Techniques setting brush into it and then put some over my radiant concealer. You can't do anything wrong using those two products together ;)

In Spring I purchased the Benefit Sugarbomp blush, it's a rush flush, 4 shades that you have to swirl to get the perfect mix of pop of color on your cheeks. Like all Benefit blushes, really beautiful and all day staying!

For the eyebrows you can't find any better products than those from Anastasia Beverly Hill, they really do what they promise. I got the dip brow pomade in "Chocolate" and can't imaging life without it anymore.

From the brows to the eyes. Gel liner. Bobbi Brown... Do I have to say more? I don't think so. Buy it! You won't deny it.

And back to Anastasia Beverly Hills.
After summer I got my hands on the ABH Amrezy palette which is absolutely georgous I think every great MUA has reviewed this palette with big excitement & loved it and so do I. MUST HAVE PALETTE!!!!

Last but not least: mascaras.
There were 3 apart from my Benefit They're real mascara, that I also loved to use.
Artdeco Wonder Lash mascara, this mascara is told to be the exaclty same as the famous Chanel mascara, whose exact I can't tell you right now. It does a really great job.
Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara, in case you don't want to spend that much money this is a really great drugstore mascara that I'll keep buying as soon as I'm out of it.
And of course a new love that I discovered: L'Oréal Faux-Cils papillon or better known as the butterfly mascara! Really like the brush, it makes them longer and the formula isn't that clumpy.

That's it for 2014. Last chapter closed!

If you wonder why I haven't picked any foundations, it's because I practically used always the same in 2014 but since 2015 started I already tried 2 new foundations and also 2 new mascaras plus one eyebrow product that I fell in love with but that I will all tell you more specifically in another post ;)

Have a nice week

My wedding styling!

Hey guys,

Last weekend one of my many cousins got married!!!! ^^ As you might know I have Balkan origins and that means there was of course a big Balkan wedding with lots of folklore dancing ;) That was a hell of a wedding, my feet hurt like hell for at least 2 days and I was tired for a few more days.

This is my cousin in her beautiful white wedding dress:

My cousin with her husband

In her other dress, with her two brothers:

DRESS

And here you can see me with some family of mine!

I was wearing a long black H&M dress with a upper and bottom part that is semi-transparent and oppen on the sides which is really great when you dance. I knew I wanted to wear a long dress since everybody else would wear a short dress and I also wanted to try out this new semi-transparent trend ^^ I was also wearing a black satine waterfall jacket over it cuz back then it was still freezing and not as hot as these days.

ACCESSOIRIES

My gold bag was also from H&M, the gold-black chain was borrowed from a friend who actually got it from another friend of mine while a shopping trip in NY. I was so busy that morning that I didn't had the time (or maybe also forgot about it) to put on some earings or other jewellery. And my black shoes with little black stones, that shimmer in the light, are from Jumex. I like them but I will never ever wear new shoes to a wedding again lol Up to 8 hours in new shoes can't end good!

HAIR

I got my hair done by a friend that works a hairdresser. Once again I wanted something different than usual. I went for a hair bun with a braid that goes from the front to one side and I also had a braid under my hair bun. (First 3 pictures are right from the hairdresser, no make up alarm!).

And this is what it looked like when I was done with my styling and ready to leave for the wedding! I really loved it and I also got a lot of compliments for it :D A huge thanks again to my friend Jess for that!

MAKEUP

Since I was in such a hurry I wasn't able to take pictures of my makeup from that day and after I got back from the wedding it wasn't that good looking anymore (lot of tears of joy, you know ;)) and so I recreated it ^^

Don't be scared about my highlighting and contoring, I know I look like a crazy person with war paint!!!! xD But blended out it turned out into this:

FACE

P2  Perfect Face makeup base
Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude
Zoeva cream highlighter and bronzer (concealer palette)
Sleek Face Contour kit powder in light
Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Pink Quartz (more hightlighter)
NARS Organsm blush
P2 Ferfect Face! finish powder in 010 white brilliance
Urban Decay All Nighter long lasting makeup setting spray

I was applying first the face primer, then the foundation, the I was using the highlighter and contor color from the Zoeva concealer palette and after I blended them out I had to do the whole highlighting and contoring thing again with powder (that's what you do for a long lasting, powder over cream ;) as powder of foundation). And then I also applied some blush and transparent powder over the whole face + the UD all nighter spray.

LIPS

NYX lipliner pencil in 810 Natural
MAC Please me lipstick

For the eyes I decided to also go for gold-black eyes! ^^

EYES
Catrice prime & fine eyeshadow base
Sleek yellow/gold eyeshadow (from the sunset palette, lid, blended out)
Sleek matt black (from the same palette, crease & upper lashline, blended out)
Sephora Jumbo Liner in Gold (on top of th lid, slightly blended out)
Maybelline Liner Express eye liner in black
Benefit they're Real! mascara
Catrice gel eye liner in #10 Black Jack with Jack Black (waterline)
Essence eyeborw stylist set (dark color)
Catrice lash/brow designer (to keep my brows in shape)

As mentioned above I was in such a hurry when I got back from the hairdresser that I had to do my makeup very fast and I had no time left to put on false lashes, nor to put on more jewellery nor to do my nails xD I guess for the next wedding I will plan sooner and better!

Foto

I wish my cousin all the best with her husband. May they be happy together for the rest of their lives :)

Have a great sunny week!

My Favorite Products Of 2012

Heeeey,

before I never do this post, I'll do it now ;)

So these are basically the products/goodies I liked using the most in 2012. Kind of a lot, most of them you've seen in previous posts, others I probably need to swatch and talk a bit more about ;)

FOR THE EYES & FACE

Urban Decay 15th anniversary palette
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
Sleek Oh So Special palette
Maybelline color tattoo #40 Permanent taupe
Urban Decay Mary Jane
Maybelline Quads in #40 Green With Envy (in Europe available under #22 Bronze Drama) & #50 Taupe Temptress

My Zoeva Metallic Stones palette that inclueds like every shade of color and is very pigmented :) Now this one I really need to swatch for you soon!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in #884 Light
Catrice gel eyeliner
Laura Mercier Oil free foundation primer
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in "Eden"
Maybelline master drama khol liner in "Ultra Black"
Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express mascara
YSL Rouge Volupté #1
Clinique chubby stick in #04 Mega Melon
Maybelline Super Stay 24 color in #510 Red Passion (the one from the commercial)
Bobbi Brown Pink Quarz shimmer brick compact
Benefit "Coralista" blush
Nars "Orgasm" blush

Benefit Hello Flawless in "Honey"
Flomar Mat touch in #M308 Far Ivory & #M306 Pastelle and Flomar Pervect Coverage foundation in #102 Soft Beige

The flomar foundations work so perfectly for my skin, this not so known brand totally convinced me, I'm practically using only these althought I have high brand foundations in my storage I prefer these. They are available at Douglas (a german perfumery) for 10€.

FOR THE HAIR

BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue sealed ends
treatment for damaged ends
BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue shampoo
for damaged hair
Wella Brilliance mask
for fine to normal, colored hair

These 3 products in combination with each other, are soooooo amazing. My hair used to be damaged a lot for quite a time, since I colored them from blond back to dark, especially the ends. The ends were like damaged all the time and it was hard to hide it, but since I started using these products a few weeks ago my hair feels like totally recovered. I already noticed a difference after the 2nd time using them. I am so fascinatied by these products that I'll keep buying them even if they cost about 45€ all together. It's worth it!

FOR NAILS

Now this was a hard choice since I would have another 20 if I could have... but I reduced it to these 14.

First row:
Seche Vite topcoat - Barry M. croco nail effect - Barry M. #239 Lavender - Barry M. #297 Blue Glitter - Kiko #341 - Manhatten #96S - Manhatten #81R
Second row:
Estée Lauder #26 Metallic Sage - Nicole by OPI "It starts with me" - butter London "Rosie Lee" - Catrice #840 Genius in the bottle - Chanel #531 Peridot - OPI "Warm & Fozzie" - Nicole by OPI "Prized Possession Purple"

I reviewed and swatched all of these polishes last year, so you can find more informations when you look under the labels! ;)

May 2013 be a good year for new goodies!!!!

Here I go again!

Bye bye,

HALLOWEEN Outfit + Nails!

Hellooo,

Since yesterday was Halloweeeeeeeeeeen today I'm showing you my outfit and my nails :D

I decided to go this year as ROCK CHIC! :P Kind of turned Kelly Osborn alike but that was unintentional!

With purple hair hahaaaaa I really love Halloween for that reason, you can dress up as crazy as you want on that day, including purple hair ^^

On the first pic you can see me with my friend Sandra who was dressed as a wizard.

Me with my friend Christelle (Sandra's twin):

Here you can see the whole outfit! Jack Daniels t-shirt, lumberjack shirt, cool leggins with a short, killer shoes and of course purple smokey eyes with red lips!

On my face:

Flomar Mat Touch foundation in M308 Fair Ivory
Benefit Hello Flawless powder in Honey

Nars Orgasm
blush

Yves Rocher  eyeshadow in #41 Purple Petal (inner corner)

Urban Decay Stardust Retrograde (out corner)

Fake eyelashes by Forever
Sephora longlasting eye liner in 01 noir black
Maybelline Super Stay 24 color in #510 Red Passion on my lips

My Nails:

They pretty much look the same like the mani I did last year for Halloween but this year I used another Catrice polish as base: Catrice #690 Fred Said Red which is more a bloody orange color ^^

As you can see here: HALLOWEEN NAILS 2011
I didn't had much time to think about my nails so I thought better this than nothing!

And since I couldn't/didn't wish you yesterday happy Halloween I'm doing it today

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!

Can't wait seeing your outfits and manis :D

With Love,

Irsada
