Maybelline Fit Me Anti-shine Sticks!

Hi.

Today's post is dedicated to the Maybelline Fit Me Anti-shine Sticks.

What you didn't know about these? OMG You are missing out on something!

Long story short:

What L'Oréal says about them:
Our first gel stick foundation with an anti-shine core
Fresh gel foundation blends to a natural matte finish
Lightweight powders in the anti-shine core instantly dissolve excess oil

Why You'll Love It

It’s one-step perfection.
The first of its kind – lightweight gel stick foundation with an anti-shine powder core:

  • Powder core instantly dissolves excess oil.
  • For flawless, shine-free skin and tailor-made natural matte coverage.
  • Easy to apply and great on-the go.
  • Available in 12 oil-free shades.

For Best Results

Apply to your face and blend evenly with your fingertips.

These are really amazing!!! I hated the Fit me foundation, bought a bottle and the foundation was not my skin tone at all and the formula was gross too. But these little sticks are quite awesome. Very handy, you can put them in your bag and carry them with you whenever you feel like you're makeup's gonna need a refreshing or what I like to do with them is that I use the lightest and darkest colors I owe (Vanilla and Moka) for contouring and highlighting (which you can see below) and the middle color 250 Beige Soleil I use when I go swimming and I know I'm going to the city, to the mall or I'm meeting up with friends, then I only use this stick because you can apply it easily on your whole face and then you use your fingers to blend it in. No foundation brush or powder afterwards needed. :) It's practical when it has to be done quickly!

BEFORE contouring/highlighting:

I already prepared my face using firstly a Nivea day cream (normal to mixed skin) then the Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude, I also filled in my eyebrows with the MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow. L'Oréal False Eyelash Extensions mascara in magnetic black on my lashes and the Maybelline Baby Lips balm in mint fresh.

I like to blend the darker color with my Real Techniques expert face brush and the highlight color with my Real Techniques stippling brush.

AFTER

The Result!!! :) I think the finish is clearly a more flawless face. I added a bit of Benefit Coralista Blush on my cheeks and I powered it with Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 006 Warm Beige. My fache might look on all pictures a bit oily or shiny but actually it wasn't at all, this is probably only because of the flash light, my face was actually matte on each of them.

I carry one of these little sticks every where I go. So easy to apply to the whole face and great for touch ups on the move. Leaves me with a natural flawless finish. Love the gel formula of it = Perfection. Only con, these are pretty expensive, at least here in Luxembourg where I live, about 10-11€. I always try to buy them when I'm in Germany and go to DM, they are cheaper there, 6-7€.

HAVE YOU TRIED THEM ALREADY OUT?

Please leave a comment below! ^^

Have a nice evening!

My Summer Favorites!!!

Hi lovelies,

I saw my last chance to do this post before it's really too late. I'll guess in some places it is still summer, well not here anymore but maybe not that far away you can still call it summer weather. Fall really hit us here ;)

So my favorite products of this summer were:

Hermes Eau des Merveilles - Jil Sander Eve - NYX blush in 'Dusty Rose' - NYX blush in 'CB02 Natural' - Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in '020 Date with Ash-ton - Catrice Lash/Brow Designer - bo-ho in 'TC04 Terre de Provence' - Sleek Pout Polish in '964 Peach Perfection' - NXY lipliner pencils in '810 Natural, 843 Citrine & 845 Hot Pink' - The Balm Shelter in light - Benefit They're Real mascara - Urban Decay supercurl curling mascara - The body needs (MAC sample) in 'Impassioned' - Catrice liquid gold topper (LE) - Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Brillant Tonic for dry & damaged hair- Zoeva Mineral Highlighter in 'A53 Summer Light'  & Bronzer in 'B53 Sun over Shoulder' - Chanel in '667 Bel-Argus - Essence in '138 L.O.L - P2 in '010 adorable, 030 seductive & 060 strict' - Pandora (no name or #) - Rimmel London Hide the Blemish Concealer in '002 Sand' - L'Oréal Elnett Sation 230C Heat Protection

On my face:

The Balm Shelter: is a tinted moisturizer/BB cream with an SPF of 18! This summer I didn't feel like wearing a heavy foundation on my face. I tried a few BB creams but I didn't like any of them except this one. The others made my face look like orange and the balm shelter adapted my skin tone. I love the smell of it and it leaves a polished complexion on your skin. Very hydrating and I love the fact that it has an SPF of 18 which makes it perfect for summer. I also liked to use it for gym ;) I used it so often but it still feels like it's full, I'm gonna definitely buy a new one when it's empty!!! (I should show you how I do a no makeup makeup look with it) Zoeva Mineral Hightlighter & Bronzer: These are new products by Zoeva Cosmetics, launced this summer and the names of them 'Summer Light' & 'Sun over Shoulder' already tell you that they were made for summer :) I never used to use mineral highlighter, bronzer or even blush but they are very good actually. I forgot to include some of their mineral blushes but I think I'll do a all Zoeva products post soon in which I will talk more about their products and show some swatches ;) bo-ho Terre de Provence: is a terracotta blush/bronzer! I got this wonderful product in one of my Deauty boxes. You can use it only on your cheekbones or as a bronzer all over your face. It gives you a healty glow. It's 100% natural, no parabens, no mineral oils, no phenoxyethanol & no PEG!!! Rimmel London Hide the Blemish concealer: conceals perfectly spots, blemishes and is also nice for under the eye area! NYX Dusty Rose: is a light rose blush that is very high pigmented and has a few sparkles in it. NYX Natural: is a rouge cream blush! OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blush. It's the only cream blush I have (how come that? I don't know!). It so highly pigmented that you barely need some of it and it blends perfectly in. I really need to get more of their cream blushes the next time or even try other cream blushes!!! :D

On my eyes:

Urban Decay supercurl curling mascara: has a great brush that curls your lashes very nice throught and puts the right amound of mascara on them and the do not stick together. You can even brush throught afterwards. This is the kind of mascara the more your brush throught your lashes the better and more stunning they turn out. Benefit They're Real mascara: do I actually have to say something to this mascara? I think this product speaks for itself. Sephora's bestseller products #1!!! It sells like every 5 seconds. And it is worth it's money! Catrice liquid gold topper: this is a limited edition launced this summer. You can use it as a topper or all over your lid as a color. It sparkles and sparkles and you'll never see more gold then this little products provides. Catrice eye brow stylist: this is actually a lighter shade than I normally use on my brows but this summer. What made me buy it? The name! hahaaa I immediately thought of Ashton Kutcher LOL I decided to keep my brows a bit lighter and now for fall I'll wear a more bold look ;) Catrice lash/brow designer: defines and holds the brows in shape!

On my lips:

Sleek Pout Polish: in 'Perfect Peach' is a moistruzing tinted balm for the lips! It has a SPF of 15 which gives enought moisture and protection for your lips in summer. They come in a wide range of shades from dark to light. The Body Needs MAC sample: in 'Impassioned' is a nice color for summer. I put it mostly after I used my NYX hot pink lippencil (all over the lips = which gives it a longer lasting ;)) If you don't know about these MAC samples or wanna see a swatch of it click >>> HERE <<< NYX lipliner pencils: in '810 Natural, 843 Citrine & 845 Hot Pink'. I used these as a base for lipsticks but mostly I used them alone, all over my lips which is sometimes a good alternative to lipsticks and the lasting can be even longer than some lipsticks.

On my nails:

Chanel le vernis: in '667 Bel-Argus' is such a stunning metalic blue color. It's looks like the sea on your nails ^^ Essence Color & Go: in '138 L.O.L. This color is really fun. It's lemon green and very unique in my eyes! P2 Sand Style polishes: in '010 adorable, 030 seductive & 060 strict': OMG I love these!!!! BTW adorable looks like OPI Teenage Dream to me ;) Pandora: I got this for free when I bought something at their shop =D heheeeee It looked to me like a Tiffany blue color in the bottle but it's more grass green, which is a nice color for summer ;) Unfortunately, I can't tell you the number or name of it because there is no written on it :O

I might includes some swatches the next days when I found some time ;)

On my hair:

Schwarzkopf GLISS KUR Brillant Tonic: is a treat for dry and damaged hair. It gives the hair more shine. After you washed and dried your hair, you put this in without rinsing! It also smells amazing!!! L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin: is a very good heat protection you apply in your hair before drying and smoothing it! This one is especially for smooth hair and give it a 3 days smoothing.

Favorite fragrances:

HÉRMES - Eau des Merveilles: Eau de toilette 30ml. I wanted this fragrance for years and it was always just the price of it that made me not buy it! Until I recently discovered a 30ml bottle of it that was affordable in my eyes. It smells like Amber, wood and has  a hint of orange to it. I also think that the bottle looks very cute =D And this is the only thing I owe of HERMES. At least one thing! Good for the beginning. Jil Sander - EVE: Eau de toilette 30ml. This is my holy grail!!!! The smell of it is described as: perfect harmony of wild rose, Arabian jasmine and violet, laid on the basis of cashmere accords and cadence of Indonesian patchouli. I fell in love with it once I got the sample of it and from then on I bought this over and over again. I need like 5-7 bottles a year of it. hahaaa It smells like summer all over the year and I get so many compliments on it! I already made like 3 other people buy it and they love it as much as I do now ;D

OH NOO, one of these post that unintentionally turn into a roman XD I hope you still enjoyed it! I just couldn't stop myself!

BTW if you wonder why there are no other eyeshadows included in this post, it's simply because I didn't have no specific favorite eyeshadow colors. I used almost every day an other color.

Have a nice day!

Deauty Box Of March!

Hey gurls,

I received the Deauty box of March some day ago and here is the post about it:

This month there are 5 products in it and 3 little Eastern eggs ^^

Purelogy Hydareting Shampoo + Conditioner (50 ml):

"A combination of jojoba and green tea with anti-fade complex that protects the coloration. A real magic potion to give back some shine to your color and maximise the lasting. And to bring it to perfection, the hydrating conditioner will untangle and nourish the hair giving it a softness and brilliance. Full size: 250 ml for both, 21,15€ for the shampoo and 24,20€ for the conditioner"

I haven't tried them yet so I can't tell you if they are good or not but I will do that this evening and then do an edit in this post!

Yves Saint Laurent - Forever Young Liberator (5 ml):

"This innovative range of the YSL Forever Young Liberator is based on one element: the glycanactif. This combination allows to unlock the cells that bloc the youth proces and reproduce glycanes to stimulate the mechanism of skin regeneration. For more flexible, smoother brighter skin. First results after 7 days. Full size: 50 ml & price: 89€."

I tried it today for the first time and I noticed that it has a formula that really buffs into the skin and you can feel some kind of taut effect.

Nuxe - Protecting Oil (30 ml):

"Travel format. A dry multy-purposing oil that nurishes. It repairs and softens the face skin, body skin and even... the hair. Composed of more than 8 different essential oils, it leaves a vacation fragrance in the air and makes the skin soft. Doesn't make the skin or hair greasy. You can put some drops in a hot bath and relax. Full size: 50 ml & price: 19,90€."

Haven't tried this yet but will update this post about what I think of it ;)

L'Oréal Paris - Nude Magic CC Cream (full size):

"CC like Color Correction. The new generation of BB adds a correction with an illuminating effect. You would like to correct your redness or make your dull color disappear? L'Oréal Paris oofers two unique versions of the CC cream to reply better to your needs. Between care and makeup, an effective solution and easy apply that replies to a complexe skin. Full size: 30 ml & price: 13,99€."

I tried it this morning and it's pretty orange... like orange. Maybe I used it the wrong way. I only applied it under my eyes like a conceiler since it's supposed to have a wake up effect but I don't know... I guess I need to check out some reviews maybe it works then...

Final thoughts: All in all I like this box! I'm already looking forward to the next one :)

Bye bye,

My First Deauty Box!

Hi,

If you follow me on Instagram (IRSADAxROCKs) you have probably already seen that I got the Deauty Box of February on Saturday! This is a beauty box just as the Glossy Box, Jolie Box, or any other beauty box out there. The Deauty Box is only available if you live in Belgium or Luxembourg, for a price of only 15€ every month! The products that you get are neither samples nor miniatures. Since there is no other box shipping to Luxembourg (where I live) I'm glad I finally found one that does ^^

So this is what my first Deauty Box looks like and I'm really satisfied with it :)

The products can vary from 4 to 6 products. This month there are only 4 but I'm hoping to get next time more cuz I've seen the also send like Essie polishes (that would be nice for a little nail polish addict like me) :P

This is what I actually got:

For those who don't speak any french I'll translate it fast for you in a few words.

L'Oréal Professionnel - Mythic Oil Shampoo (250 ml):

"A shampoo but not any shampoo. The secret of this shampoo is the unique texture! This oil shampoo gives the right shine and nourishes the hair thanks to the argan oil and cotton seed oil. It gives the hair the force & brillance back. It's more than just a shampoo. Full size 200 ml & price 15,20€"

I washed my hair yesterday using this shampoo and I must say my hair's pretty smooth, easy to comb and it smells good. With the mask I use usally my hair tips look a bit better than before. ^^
But of course I only used it once and it probably will show more of its effects after a few times of use. I'll keep you up to date in that case ;)
And it's the full size product!!! How awesome is that :D The price of it is a 20 cents more than the actual Deauty Box costs.

Biotherm - hand & nail treatment (20 ml):

"This product is the right hand cream for cold times like these. It protects the skin, nourishes the fingers and preserves the youth of the hands. It contains vitamin F & D. It's oil free and the size of it allows you to carry it in every hand bag. Full size: 100 ml & prize: 25 €"

I tried it also only once and it seems to be a good product! But so far I can't tell more, I need more time to try it out more often.

Eucerin - wash lotion (75 ml):

"A wash lotion for body and face. Ph neutral for soft skin. It doesn't contain any soap or parabens and only a few foaming agents to clean the skin properly. It protects against drying skin even if you shower a lot. It layers a protection over your skin, for soft and hydrated skin. Full size: 200 ml & prize: 8,45 €"

When I took a shower yesterday I used it. I haven't noticed any big difference, it almost has no smell and is transparent. While applying, I felt like I need a lot of it for my whole body so I think it will be pretty soon empty. I'll keep you up to date!

L'Oréal Paris - Super Liner Blackbuster (full size):

"There's nothing better than a good eyeline for a marvelous a look of feline! It allows an easy and precise line for every look you want, whether you want Cat Eyes or go for the Amy Winehouse look. Easy and fast to apply, a deep black, and it shouldn't be missing in any make-up bag. Full size! Price: 11,90 €."

Another full size product in the box!!!!!!! :D

As you can see on my hand, the line is pretty black when you apply it the thick way and still straight. It stayed very long on my hand, I applied it yesterday morning and it's still on my hand right now when I'm writing this post. I also wore it on my eyes on Saturday night and it stayed well and without smudging! I think I like it a lot.

Final thoughts: I like this months Deauty Box! The only thing that was worrying me in the first place when I opened it were the two L'Oréal products, since I actually didn't want to buy any L'Oréal products anymore, because I personally decided to not support them anymore since they're well known for being the biggest company testing on animals. But I'm looking forward for a new European law that will be imported in a few months that doesn't allow any testing on animals in Europe anymore, and I think even L'Oréal will have to go with the crowd if they don't want to lose billions of customers haaaa ;) And since I can't change what I will get in my coming Deauty Boxes I will keep that stuff and maybe give it away if I'm not satisfied with it.

Thanks for stopping by!

With Love,

Irsada
