Deauty box of August - the 1 year anniversary box!

Hi Ladies,

It's deauty time again! And this month's deauty box is a special one because the Deauty box is already celebrating it's first birthday!

Pity, I couldn't enjoy these wonderful boxes from the begining on but I'm glad I found out about them cuz no other box is delivering to my country (Luxembourg).

This month's special box contains 5 full size products that cost all together more or less 48 €. And there are two extras, one headband out of silk and as a client you can pick up an extra shower gel by Bioderma in the iU stores (but unfortunately they are only in Belgium).

Deauty box of August:

Menu of August

Bioderma - Sensibio H20 (Full size)

"Sensibio H20, is the 'must-have' micellaire solution: 1 flacon of Sensbio H20 is sold every 8 seconds in the world. And so every beauty addicts of the world have adopted this make up remover and cleaner. Full size: 100 ml! Price: 9,20€."

I wanted to buy this for ages but always forgot it or never found them in the stores I was looking for a cleansing solution. Yesh!!!! Can't wait to see if it's really that good. And it's true that I've seen so many beauty gurus using the cleaner of Bioderma.

Maybelline - Baby lips (Full size)

"Stop it with the classic lip balms! This cute little stick is the latest trend in the balms era: nourishes your lips with it's rich formula of shea butter, antioxidants and vitamins. Don't wait for the winter to heal your lips! Join the "Baby Lips" revolution. Full size! Price: 3,99 €."

I had this baby ball in blue, can't remember what taste it was, wasn't much using it althought it was good, maybe this one tastes better.

Garnier - Lisseur Optique (Full size)

"This revolutionary basic complexion concentrates light reflectors with exceptional optical properties for a matte immediately effect, that's filling and smoothing the skin. For best results, apply the base after your day cream. Full size! Price: 10,99 €."

Hmmm not that I need this already at my age but you never know. I'll give it a try anyway thought ;)

Clinique - Rouge Longtemps All Heart (Full size)

At Deauty, we celebrate our anniversary with color! Entrust your smile with the big brand Clinique lipstick that combines comfort and long-lasting. This red satin under the shades of brick, beige and pink is perfect for any occasion. Full size! Price: 21, 47 €."

Swatch:

I must say this is my first Clinique lipstick! I never was really a fan of their lipsticks, they never catched my attention when I was at the counter, althought I love their Chubby Sticks!!!! I'm really glad that I got this little goodie to maybe change my mind about their lipsticks. Color looks good thought. ^^

Avril - Blush (Full size)

"Brighten your complexion with this delicate blush thanks to April. Very pigmented, easy to apply and blends perfectly, it will enhance your cheeks with a veil of fresh and natural color. The plus? It contains no parabens! Full size! Price: 2,00 €."

The pigmentation looks quite good to me. And I love these little goldish shimmer in it. We'll see if it can keep up with my other peach blushes. I also love the fact that this one is paraben free :)

Final thoughts: I really enjoy this month's Deauty box! All the stuff looks nice to me. The fact that all of these are full size products and would cost me almost 50 €, if I'd buy them seperately, is amazingly awesome. This box really payed off!!!!!! The only con in my eyes are the extra gifts they are promising, I can't really benefit from them, the sild headband I don't know what to do with it and I wish they would have included that shower gel by Bioderma immediately in this box. But all in all as I said before I'm really satisfied with this one!

BTW I'm thinking about doing a "Back to School Giveaway! It might be already up by the end of next week. I still have to buy some stuff for it ;)

Have a nice day!

My Favorite Products Of 2012

Heeeey,

before I never do this post, I'll do it now ;)

So these are basically the products/goodies I liked using the most in 2012. Kind of a lot, most of them you've seen in previous posts, others I probably need to swatch and talk a bit more about ;)

FOR THE EYES & FACE

Urban Decay 15th anniversary palette
Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
Sleek Oh So Special palette
Maybelline color tattoo #40 Permanent taupe
Urban Decay Mary Jane
Maybelline Quads in #40 Green With Envy (in Europe available under #22 Bronze Drama) & #50 Taupe Temptress

My Zoeva Metallic Stones palette that inclueds like every shade of color and is very pigmented :) Now this one I really need to swatch for you soon!

Sleek Face Contour Kit in #884 Light
Catrice gel eyeliner
Laura Mercier Oil free foundation primer
Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion in "Eden"
Maybelline master drama khol liner in "Ultra Black"
Maybelline the Falsies Volume Express mascara
YSL Rouge Volupté #1
Clinique chubby stick in #04 Mega Melon
Maybelline Super Stay 24 color in #510 Red Passion (the one from the commercial)
Bobbi Brown Pink Quarz shimmer brick compact
Benefit "Coralista" blush
Nars "Orgasm" blush

Benefit Hello Flawless in "Honey"
Flomar Mat touch in #M308 Far Ivory & #M306 Pastelle and Flomar Pervect Coverage foundation in #102 Soft Beige

The flomar foundations work so perfectly for my skin, this not so known brand totally convinced me, I'm practically using only these althought I have high brand foundations in my storage I prefer these. They are available at Douglas (a german perfumery) for 10€.

FOR THE HAIR

BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue sealed ends
treatment for damaged ends
BC Bonacure hairtherapy Repair Rescue shampoo
for damaged hair
Wella Brilliance mask
for fine to normal, colored hair

These 3 products in combination with each other, are soooooo amazing. My hair used to be damaged a lot for quite a time, since I colored them from blond back to dark, especially the ends. The ends were like damaged all the time and it was hard to hide it, but since I started using these products a few weeks ago my hair feels like totally recovered. I already noticed a difference after the 2nd time using them. I am so fascinatied by these products that I'll keep buying them even if they cost about 45€ all together. It's worth it!

FOR NAILS

Now this was a hard choice since I would have another 20 if I could have... but I reduced it to these 14.

First row:
Seche Vite topcoat - Barry M. croco nail effect - Barry M. #239 Lavender - Barry M. #297 Blue Glitter - Kiko #341 - Manhatten #96S - Manhatten #81R
Second row:
Estée Lauder #26 Metallic Sage - Nicole by OPI "It starts with me" - butter London "Rosie Lee" - Catrice #840 Genius in the bottle - Chanel #531 Peridot - OPI "Warm & Fozzie" - Nicole by OPI "Prized Possession Purple"

I reviewed and swatched all of these polishes last year, so you can find more informations when you look under the labels! ;)

May 2013 be a good year for new goodies!!!!

Here I go again!

Bye bye,

What's In My Make-up Bag???

Hey Hooooo,

I've seen lots of "What's In My Make-up Bag" posts and youtube videos, so it was a matter of time to join this madness ^^ It's always fascinating to see what kind of products other girls are carring with them and gives you a good idea of which products they can't live without.

I'll guess I'll have to start with the brand of my make-up bag. This make-up bag is by Tally Weijl. I have like at least 10 but this is my favorite one when it comes to my everyday use.

I don't like to carry around a lot because I don't like when my bag feels heavy therefore I don't carry foundation, nor blush nor any brushes with me cuz they take too much space. That are the MUST DOs before I leave the house, otherwise I wouldn't leave the house with at least those basics.

  • benefit "Hello falwless" compact powder in Honey: I apply it after my foundation and when I'm on the road I use the mirror of it to check my make-up and fix some parts in case of it.
  • essence 3 in 1 concealer: one of the best inventions ever! The green color is for red spots/zits, the pink color is for under the eyes, for tired eyes to make them not look tired anymore and the beige color you use over the foundation when you can still see some color differences or over the other two colors to neutralize them/adapt them to the rest of the face.
  • Maybelline color tattoo #40 "Permanent Taupe": one of the many color tattoos and my absolutly favorite color of them. It's taupe. In case you don't know this color, google it!!! You miss on something great. This color is really really good for every occasion.
  • Maybelline The Falsies Volum Express Mascara in Black Drama: one of the best mascaras ever! You really get what they promise. (review to come)
  • Maybelline master drama khol liner: the best eyeliner if you want a really black line to contour your eyes or on the waterline. It stay on forever! :D
  • Clinique chubby stick in #05 chunky cherry, #04 mega melon & #10 bountiful blush: these are tinted lip balsams! I carry them in 3 different colors with me, and I might buy even more of them. They are really perfect for the winter season. I'll post some swatches in the next days.
  • YSL rouge volupté in #1 lipstick: I love this pink color... the smell of it not so much but the consistency again is quite perfect and the color holds forever.
  • MAC "Brave" lipstick: the first mac lipstick I bought! From the name you can tell that the color  is quite a decent color, light pink, matt, not too light, not too dark.
  • Bobbi Brown #21 "Pale Pink" lipstick: the only bobbi brown lipstick I owe for the moment but there are more on my wishlist since I absolutely love the formula of it and it also seems to hold forever on the lips and in this case. comparing it to the YSL and MAC lipsticks, I really love the smell of it .
  • Urban Decay Primer Potion mini in Original: I actually prefer the Eden potion but I carry this mini with me on days I don't wear any eyeshadow but all of a sudden decide to wear one or all of a sudden have to go somewhere but don't have much time to do a dramatic eye make-up look. I apply it on my eyelids before I apply Permanent Taupe.
  • essence eyebrow stylist set: I like this little set of two colors. It's a nice set for little money. I mostly use the darker color of it.

These products are the basics I carry with me and also some of my favorite products for the moment. I think I will soon do another post with swatches of them ^^ sometimes I throw some additional stuff in my make-up bag! And the products can also change from season to season so there might be some more What's In My Make-up Bag posts in the future!!! ;)

I hope you enjoyed this post! For me it was fun to open up my bag for you. :)

What beauty items do you absolutely HAVE to have
in your make-up bag?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

My first HAIR & MAKE-UP job!

Welcome back,

In my today's post I'm showing you the look I created recently on a friend of mine!

This is MERSIDA (24 years old), she is my cousin's wife and a good friend of mine. She has two beautiful little children she takes care off the whole time, the girl is 3 years old and the boy almost 1 year old. As she runs the family management 24 hours 7 days a week, she is running out of time to getting dressed and putting makeup on the way she could do! So I wanted to give her a special moment she can forget about everything and remembering how it is to be a woman and remembering her husband why he chosed her ;)

As she has these bigh brown eyes I wanted to put the spot on them and make them a little more bigger by putting the right edge in the corner and enlarging the with a white kayal on the waterline, which she never did so far... until now. She always wanted them bigger but didn't know how to do it and I guess my hint helped her a lot.

The foundation I used, is by clinique, and really looks gorgeous on her skin. I even do believe her skin looks like porcelain. 100% without alcohol btw!

For the hair I decided to go with a tousled hair bun, that doesn't look to much like a secratary but a bit more sexier ;) and which suits her really great thought!

As it is one of my very first times as a make-up artist I had a bit of troubles with the liner, to really get the kajal line straight but I guess no one is born as a master, skill comes with practice ;)

Products used:
Clinique Superbalanced Makeup (one of the light colors, I think it was Light or Ivory)
Nars Orgasm blush
Urban Decay Primer Potion Eden
Urban Decay Naked 2, Bootycall in the inner and mittle corner and under the eyes, Chopper on the out/V corner
Sephora longlasting eye liner in 01 noir black
Dior Diorshow Iconic mascara
essence kayal pencil in 04 white, on the waterline
Mac brave lipstick
I use to wear this look by the way very often too and I already showed you this tutorial a few months ago in my NAKED 2 reviww (CLICK HERE TO SEE IT).

Her husband really loved it and almost didn't recognize her ^^ and that's the most important thing. I hope you like what I did and continue reading my blog :))

With Love,

Irsada
