Lorac Pro Cut Crease Look!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I wish you all the best :D

I'm excited to show you my first post of 2015, it's about my favorite look using the Lorac pro palette (1st).

Are you also as excited about what this new year will bring as I am? I hope you all had some nice holidays and are ready to restart and hopefully do it better than ever before. I have many plans for this year and I hope I can fullfill them. It was about time to start a new chapter and go for adventures.

But let's get back to the actual post and the details that might be interesting for you :)

It's a cut crease look that came to my mind when I got this georgous palette and meanwhile I've seen other AMUs on Instagram (Yes, I have Instagram and you can follow me if you want).

EYES
URBAN DECAY prime potion in Eden
LORAC PRO Light Pink, over the whole lid and Mauve in the crease (blended out)
SEPHORA long-lasting eye liner for winged cat eyes
ESSENCE white Ahaaa eyeliner in the waterline
MARC JACOBS 30 blacquer omega lash mascara

SKIN
REVLON Photoready foundation in 004 Nude
NARS radiant creamy concealer in vanilla under the eyes

I wear this look once a week, it goes well with pretty much everything. Even great for work, when you work at a office like me.

Stay tuned for more posts soon ;)

Maybelline Fit Me Anti-shine Sticks!

Hi.

Today's post is dedicated to the Maybelline Fit Me Anti-shine Sticks.

What you didn't know about these? OMG You are missing out on something!

Long story short:

What L'Oréal says about them:
Our first gel stick foundation with an anti-shine core
Fresh gel foundation blends to a natural matte finish
Lightweight powders in the anti-shine core instantly dissolve excess oil

Why You'll Love It

It’s one-step perfection.
The first of its kind – lightweight gel stick foundation with an anti-shine powder core:

  • Powder core instantly dissolves excess oil.
  • For flawless, shine-free skin and tailor-made natural matte coverage.
  • Easy to apply and great on-the go.
  • Available in 12 oil-free shades.

For Best Results

Apply to your face and blend evenly with your fingertips.

These are really amazing!!! I hated the Fit me foundation, bought a bottle and the foundation was not my skin tone at all and the formula was gross too. But these little sticks are quite awesome. Very handy, you can put them in your bag and carry them with you whenever you feel like you're makeup's gonna need a refreshing or what I like to do with them is that I use the lightest and darkest colors I owe (Vanilla and Moka) for contouring and highlighting (which you can see below) and the middle color 250 Beige Soleil I use when I go swimming and I know I'm going to the city, to the mall or I'm meeting up with friends, then I only use this stick because you can apply it easily on your whole face and then you use your fingers to blend it in. No foundation brush or powder afterwards needed. :) It's practical when it has to be done quickly!

BEFORE contouring/highlighting:

I already prepared my face using firstly a Nivea day cream (normal to mixed skin) then the Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude, I also filled in my eyebrows with the MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow. L'Oréal False Eyelash Extensions mascara in magnetic black on my lashes and the Maybelline Baby Lips balm in mint fresh.

I like to blend the darker color with my Real Techniques expert face brush and the highlight color with my Real Techniques stippling brush.

AFTER

The Result!!! :) I think the finish is clearly a more flawless face. I added a bit of Benefit Coralista Blush on my cheeks and I powered it with Rimmel Stay Matte powder in 006 Warm Beige. My fache might look on all pictures a bit oily or shiny but actually it wasn't at all, this is probably only because of the flash light, my face was actually matte on each of them.

I carry one of these little sticks every where I go. So easy to apply to the whole face and great for touch ups on the move. Leaves me with a natural flawless finish. Love the gel formula of it = Perfection. Only con, these are pretty expensive, at least here in Luxembourg where I live, about 10-11€. I always try to buy them when I'm in Germany and go to DM, they are cheaper there, 6-7€.

HAVE YOU TRIED THEM ALREADY OUT?

Please leave a comment below! ^^

Have a nice evening!

My Autumn Look!

Hello,

Since it's Autumn, it's time to take out all the fall colors like brown, burgundy, green, orange & yellow ;)

That goes for clothes such as for the eyes! I bought a new eyeshadow palette. Sleek Vintage Romance, which is a brand new palette, to be more precise. It includes bright brown, pink & purple and darker colors in it and they all have the names of cities like for example: pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, List in LA, Romance in Rome, ... 11 of 12 colors are shimmery except one, 'Purpose in Prage' (which I used in my crease). Really beautiful colors for a ridicilously cheap price.

 Pullover - H&M
Blouse - H&M

FACE
Laura Mercier oil free foundation primer
Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude
MAC RiRi Diamonds Frost (highlighter)
Zoeva mineral highlighter in A53 Summer light
NYX blush in 02 Dusty Rose
Rimmel London Stay Matte powder in 005 Silky Beige
Urban Decay All Nighter long lasting makeup setting spray

EYES
NYX eye shadow base
Sleek 'Court in Cannes' eyeshadow (from the vintage romance palette, lid, blended out)
Sleek 'Propose in Prague' (from the same palette, crease, blended out)
Catrice gel eye liner in 010 'Black Jack with Jack Black'
Benefit they're Real! mascara
P2 eyebrow express in '021 perfect brunette'
P2 pool side party (for the brows)

LIPS

NYX lipliner pencil in 810 Natural
MAC Syrup lipstick

Hope you like the look and are not as sick as I am at the moment ^^

Thanks for reading!!!

My wedding styling!

Hey guys,

Last weekend one of my many cousins got married!!!! ^^ As you might know I have Balkan origins and that means there was of course a big Balkan wedding with lots of folklore dancing ;) That was a hell of a wedding, my feet hurt like hell for at least 2 days and I was tired for a few more days.

This is my cousin in her beautiful white wedding dress:

My cousin with her husband

In her other dress, with her two brothers:

DRESS

And here you can see me with some family of mine!

I was wearing a long black H&M dress with a upper and bottom part that is semi-transparent and oppen on the sides which is really great when you dance. I knew I wanted to wear a long dress since everybody else would wear a short dress and I also wanted to try out this new semi-transparent trend ^^ I was also wearing a black satine waterfall jacket over it cuz back then it was still freezing and not as hot as these days.

ACCESSOIRIES

My gold bag was also from H&M, the gold-black chain was borrowed from a friend who actually got it from another friend of mine while a shopping trip in NY. I was so busy that morning that I didn't had the time (or maybe also forgot about it) to put on some earings or other jewellery. And my black shoes with little black stones, that shimmer in the light, are from Jumex. I like them but I will never ever wear new shoes to a wedding again lol Up to 8 hours in new shoes can't end good!

HAIR

I got my hair done by a friend that works a hairdresser. Once again I wanted something different than usual. I went for a hair bun with a braid that goes from the front to one side and I also had a braid under my hair bun. (First 3 pictures are right from the hairdresser, no make up alarm!).

And this is what it looked like when I was done with my styling and ready to leave for the wedding! I really loved it and I also got a lot of compliments for it :D A huge thanks again to my friend Jess for that!

MAKEUP

Since I was in such a hurry I wasn't able to take pictures of my makeup from that day and after I got back from the wedding it wasn't that good looking anymore (lot of tears of joy, you know ;)) and so I recreated it ^^

Don't be scared about my highlighting and contoring, I know I look like a crazy person with war paint!!!! xD But blended out it turned out into this:

FACE

P2  Perfect Face makeup base
Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude
Zoeva cream highlighter and bronzer (concealer palette)
Sleek Face Contour kit powder in light
Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Pink Quartz (more hightlighter)
NARS Organsm blush
P2 Ferfect Face! finish powder in 010 white brilliance
Urban Decay All Nighter long lasting makeup setting spray

I was applying first the face primer, then the foundation, the I was using the highlighter and contor color from the Zoeva concealer palette and after I blended them out I had to do the whole highlighting and contoring thing again with powder (that's what you do for a long lasting, powder over cream ;) as powder of foundation). And then I also applied some blush and transparent powder over the whole face + the UD all nighter spray.

LIPS

NYX lipliner pencil in 810 Natural
MAC Please me lipstick

For the eyes I decided to also go for gold-black eyes! ^^

EYES
Catrice prime & fine eyeshadow base
Sleek yellow/gold eyeshadow (from the sunset palette, lid, blended out)
Sleek matt black (from the same palette, crease & upper lashline, blended out)
Sephora Jumbo Liner in Gold (on top of th lid, slightly blended out)
Maybelline Liner Express eye liner in black
Benefit they're Real! mascara
Catrice gel eye liner in #10 Black Jack with Jack Black (waterline)
Essence eyeborw stylist set (dark color)
Catrice lash/brow designer (to keep my brows in shape)

As mentioned above I was in such a hurry when I got back from the hairdresser that I had to do my makeup very fast and I had no time left to put on false lashes, nor to put on more jewellery nor to do my nails xD I guess for the next wedding I will plan sooner and better!

Foto

I wish my cousin all the best with her husband. May they be happy together for the rest of their lives :)

Have a great sunny week!

Celebrity Inspired Make-up Look: Demi Lovato!

Welcome to my blog!

So I saw this look on Demi Lovato that she was wearing on X-factor, about 4-5 months ago and I liked it a lot. Then they did a little print tutorial in the German Intouch magazin a bit later with suggestions of make-up that could be used to create this look and so I decided to go for it and try it out. But like always I'm running late with the post since my life became so busy.

I gotta say I really like the orange-turquoise color combination. It's kind of a great look for spring and summer ^^ It fits her outfit she was wearing that day but I believe you can wear it also with more normal clothes, a summer dress or sth like that, and rock the look :)

My Demi Look:

PRODUCTS USED

Face:
P2 Perfect Face Oil Control Base
REVLON PhotoReady Foundation in #004 Nude
Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer in #51 Light Radiance
Benefit Hoola Bronzing Powder (for contouring)
Bobbi Brown Shimmer  Brick in "Pink Quartz" (for highlighting)
Benefit Coralista Blush
Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder in #006 warm beige

Eyes:
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden
Maybelline Big Eyes Palette in #01 Luminous Brown (orange and middle white color)
Urban Decay "Chopper"
Catrice Eye Shadow Pen in C02 Birds Flying High (turquoise color)
Rimmer London Extra WOW Lash + Benefit They're Real! Mascara
Sephora Long-lasting Eye Liner
Maybelline Master Drama Khol Liner (water line)
Essence eyebrow Stylist Set (dark color)

Lips:
Sleek MakeUp Pout Polish in #964 Peach Perfection (for moiztrizing)
Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in #612 Peach Pearl Diamonds

I thickened my eyes brows more than I would personally wear but Demi has so thick and fuzzy eyebrows compared to mine that I didn't wanna fill them in too much and make it look like I'm wearing two dark brown beams over my eyes ;) And yes I am aware of the fact that they are probably not symmetrical (which they probably never are since I'm very bad in filling them in or even shaping them). Also does Demi seem to wear some fake lashes but I would only put some one if I would wear this look for a night out. In that case I would use some individual lashes that you can place everywhere you wanna create dramatic long lashes.

Closer look

I'm already looking forward to show you which other celebrity looks I like too and would wear myself ;) Many more to come!

Have a nice weekend!!!!!!

My first post of this year was also an celebrity inspiring look. If you wanna know how what my Kristen Stewart make-up look looked like click >>>HERE<<<

Much love,

New Purchases!

Hatschiiiii again!
I mean hi again,

I hope you guys are in better form than I am. I've been sick for days, and most of the time I spent resting in my bed waiting to feel good enough to stand up and be more productive. I actually had plenty of time to write 10 posts meanwhile but I just wasn't in the mood and condition the last few days, so in case you missed me SORRY for that. I feel already better today and here we go again!!!

I'm showing you today what I bought the last days when I made it out of my house. It's an haul post! :D

I decided to try some new foundations so I picked up these 3 new:

REVLON Photo Ready in #004 Nude - CHANEL Vitalumière Aqua ultra light skin perfecting makeup in #22 beige rosé - Bourjois healthy mix serum gel foundation in #52 Vanilla

Also did I decide that it's time to get the Urban Decay NAKED Basics :) and since I found a store in my proximity that sells a small range of Revlon products I bought the foundation mentioned above and this REVLON Colorstay eyeshadow palette in #14 Nude elements:

A closer look on the colors the new NAKED palette includes:

I will post swatches of it in the coming days.

NEW NAILPOLISHES!!!

1st row: Deborah Lippmann Candy Shop - OPI Mini Stay The Night (this was a gift by a friend) - China Glaze #1006 Pink Voltage

2nd row: KIKO #04 - KIKO #03 - KIKO #352 - KIKO #245

I already shot some pictures of Candy shop and Pink Voltage, so I will post them very soon ;)

NEW JEWELLERY!!!

My Konplott collection got bigger! I received for my birthday last year this beautiful turquoise ring and now I decided to get more. New light pink earrings and a ring with purple stones joined in. ^^
If you don't know this brand, all the pieces are designed by Miranda Konstantinidou, they are handmade and they used swarovski stones, online-shop HERE.

Finally I got something that has been on my wishlist for months :)

The Marc By Marc Jacobs Katie Turnlock ring in rose gold:

I just love the way it looks and this color =.=

And last but not least I decided to get a new photo lens for my Nikon D3100, to be able to shot even better pictures. Only for you! ;) It's a 35 mm photo lens!

Now leave me alone, I gotta play with my new stuff :P Let the fun begin!

READ YOU!!!
