Favorites of 2014

Hiii guys,

I put all my makeup favorites of 2014 for you together!

In the beginning of 2014 I got the Lorac Pro and a bit later the Urban Decay Naked 3. If you like a lot of neutral matte to shiny shades from light to dark then I suggest you the Lorac Pro palette and if you are more into neutral pinky colors then you need to get the Naked 3.

When it comes to highlighting and contouring, I loved the Maybelline Fit Me sticks a lot, they have a few shades from very light to very dark but if you blend them good in they can be the perfect base before you apply highlight and bronzer powder. If you scroll a bit down you can see that I reviewed these Fit Me sticks and how I use them.
I would sometimes use my Bourjouis chocolate bronzer over it and depending on how shiny I want my face to look like I would often swith from my MAC Rihanna Diamonds Frost to NYX Born to glow liquid illuminator, both are really good pigmented.
For the under eye part, in the morning when you wake up and you look like a zombie, I like to use the NARS radiant creamy concealer. This concealer is simply amazing, it works better on me than the Bourjouis healthy mix éclat & anti-fatigue correcting concealer.
And to fix, especially the under eye part, I like to use loose powder and my favorite has become the MaxFactor Ellen Betrix loose powder. I just tap my Real Techniques setting brush into it and then put some over my radiant concealer. You can't do anything wrong using those two products together ;)

In Spring I purchased the Benefit Sugarbomp blush, it's a rush flush, 4 shades that you have to swirl to get the perfect mix of pop of color on your cheeks. Like all Benefit blushes, really beautiful and all day staying!

For the eyebrows you can't find any better products than those from Anastasia Beverly Hill, they really do what they promise. I got the dip brow pomade in "Chocolate" and can't imaging life without it anymore.

From the brows to the eyes. Gel liner. Bobbi Brown... Do I have to say more? I don't think so. Buy it! You won't deny it.

And back to Anastasia Beverly Hills.
After summer I got my hands on the ABH Amrezy palette which is absolutely georgous I think every great MUA has reviewed this palette with big excitement & loved it and so do I. MUST HAVE PALETTE!!!!

Last but not least: mascaras.
There were 3 apart from my Benefit They're real mascara, that I also loved to use.
Artdeco Wonder Lash mascara, this mascara is told to be the exaclty same as the famous Chanel mascara, whose exact I can't tell you right now. It does a really great job.
Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara, in case you don't want to spend that much money this is a really great drugstore mascara that I'll keep buying as soon as I'm out of it.
And of course a new love that I discovered: L'Oréal Faux-Cils papillon or better known as the butterfly mascara! Really like the brush, it makes them longer and the formula isn't that clumpy.

That's it for 2014. Last chapter closed!

If you wonder why I haven't picked any foundations, it's because I practically used always the same in 2014 but since 2015 started I already tried 2 new foundations and also 2 new mascaras plus one eyebrow product that I fell in love with but that I will all tell you more specifically in another post ;)

Have a nice week

LORAC PRO palette + swatches!

Hiiiii everyone,

First of all, excuse me if you were expecting a post the last 2 weeks. Funny story! The day I was planning on writing a new post (actually this one) the charger of my macbook died and it took me one week until I got my new one delievered and then I didn't find any time the last 3-4 days on doing this post but today I'm pretty motivated and I took some time to finally get this done ^^

I wanted to show you my LORAC PRO eyeshadow palette and swatched it for you guys ;)

My wonderful friend Kelly send me this amazing palette from the USA, unfortunately the mirror was smashed when I opened the box but luckily all the colors were save.

LORAC PRO PALETTE:

The Lorac Pro palette has 16, yes SIXTEEN eyeshadows! Half of the shades (upper line) are matte and the other half  (lower line) are shimmery. It comes with a little Behind the Scenes Eye Primer tube. The eyeshadows have a very nice pigmentation and you can wear them wet or dry. The palette has soft and smooth textures, and the colors are quite neutral. ($42.00 for 16 x 0.02 oz.; 1 x 0.19 oz.)

Descriebed by Lorac: "Go PRO with the LORAC PRO Palette! Created by celebrity makeup artist Carol Shaw, this PRO artistry palette is packed with 8 Shimmer and 8 Matte Eye Shadows in all the shades you need to create the hottest looks straight from the Red Carpet. LORAC’S velvety-smooth shadows are infused with soothing botanicals and are ultra-pigmented to perform wet or dry so you can shade, shadow, line and define your eyes, just like a PRO."

SWATCHES:

White (= crisp, powdery texture, great as highlighter)
Cream (= pale beige)
Taupe (= warm toned, medium dark brown)
Light Pink (= well light pink lol, powder texture)
Mauve (= pink-plum, a bit powdery)
Sable (= dark taupe)
Espresso (= very dark brown)
Black (= medium dark black)

Nude (= shimmery pale beige, close to Champage)
Champagne (= rose tinted, close to Nude)
Gold (= rich metallic medium dark copper, not exactly gold)
Light Bronze (= warm toned peach)
Pewter (= medium dark shimmery brown)
Garnet (= redish-brown copper)
Deep Purple (= blackened warm purple)
Slate (= charcoal gray with flecks of teal micro-shimmer)

My favorite colors from this palette are Taupe, Light Pink, Mauve, Espresso, Champagne, Gold, Light Bronze, Garnet and Deep Purple. LOL I know that are half the colors but I would have also got it if it only contained those 8 ^^

The price is very raisonable for the 16 eyeshadows you get. I would say they are as equal as my Urban Decay shades. The case is so easy to carry and you can do almost any look you want. 8 shimmers and 8 Mattes is such a great idea. This is a great palette for the price and I am excited to try more looks and do some posts for you ;)

IF YOU CAN GET IT, GET IT!!!

Nice to be back in the blogger world
