Anastasia Beverly Hills - Part 2 : The Amrezy Palette

Hello Chicas,

Here comes part 2 of my Anastasia Beverly Hills post, this time I'm showing you the eyeshadow palette I bought ^^

The Amrezy palette is an eyeshadow palette with 10 shades selected by the wonderful, amazing and world known MUA Amra Olevic better known as Amrezy, and produced by ABH! If you don't know her, you definitively missed something in life, follow her Instagram account @amrezy and check out her blogger page: glamrezy.blogspot.com :D

It's a good mix of matte and shimmery neutral colors, the upper eyeshadow row are all shimmery eyeshadows and the lower eyeshadows are all matte. The range of colors is exactly the kind of range I personally often go for. It has two light colors, that could translate a bit more thought, warm colors that are stunning, and some pop of color with a purple and a green color.

The palette has a really cool leopard print cover and a mirror under the lid. It also comes with a double sided brush which I already managed to loose xD Yes, true story!

All-in-all the shades have a good pigmentation and transfer easily to a makeup brush. The formula is a bit buttery and creamy, but with very little fall-out. They apply easily and blend out flawlessly, except Deep Plum and LBD, they are a bit harder to blend.

SWATCHES

My favorite colors of this palette are Glisten, Topaz, Caramel, Morocco & Deep Plum

Vanilla could be more pigmented thought, and I'm not totally satisfied how Iridescent Purple and Emerald turn out on the lid.

This palette is 29 $, I bought mine directly from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website. International shipping is a bit expensive with 18 $ but it arrives in about 12 days. I'm so happy with this palette, I reached out for it almost every day since I got it. Big thumps and congratulations to Amrezy for this creation, great collaboration with ABH!!!

EOTD

I also created for you one of my favorite looks from this palette to give you a clue what the colors look like applied.

I already showed you how I did my eyebrows and which foundation I used on my skin in my previous post. So I primed my eyes with Clarins Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base Primer, 'TOPAZ' on the lid, 'VANILLA' on the tear duct and under my eyebrow, 'MOROCCO' in the crease and 'DEEP PLUM' under the lower lash line up to the crease and slightly blended in the crease with 'MOROCCO'.

Sephora long-lasting eye liner on the upper lash line and along half of the lower lash line, then I blended the lower line with a pointed brush out.

And if you prefer more a winged eyeliner look you can do what ever look you like more. To make this look even more perfect I also added a beige eyeliner on my waterline but you can also go with a white eyeliner and of course mascara, Artdeco Wonder Lash mascara..

I hope you like what I came up to with. Let me know what your thoughts are about this palette!!!

Soon more post about more Anastasia products to follow ;)

Meet My BFF Azra - Make-up & Pictures By ME!

Moien,

This is a post about my bff Azra, 25, years old and in 2 days she will be married for 1 year ^^
So I decided to dedicate this post to her since I was her bridesmaid #1 and felt like you guys need to get know a bit more of my life and she is a part of it. We know each other for almost 5 years now. This doesn't sound maybe like long periode but we found each other and I hope we stay friends for the rest of our lives. It's actually funny that we turned out to be friends at all since we both though from the other, when we first met, that the other one is arrogant. But then we both got to know each other and at the second meeting, we were laughing like best friends and were unseperable.

The pictures you can see are taken by me a few weeks ago. She was going to a weeding and asked for my help as a make-up artist novice :P

The pictures were taken at her apartement. I think the pictures turned out really great :) So she was wearing her hair up with a braid wrapped around. She has the most beautiful hair you can imagine, it's like horse hair so full and voluminous, unfortunately you can't see it here really since she has it together. And I'm also jealous because of her wonderful skin tone, she always looks like she got home from holidays at a sunny place and she doesn't need much of a foundation. In case you wonder about the earings, they are by Swarowski.

Products used:

(unfortuanately I can't specify some of the products as I used hers)

Clarins foundation
dark brown blush (don't remember the brand at all)

for the eyes I used:
BeYu Catwalk Star Eyeshadow palette #04
Includes one dark, one light grey color and a white eyeshadow!
Then I applied slightly some glitter by Claire's over the eye make-up and under the eyes

Chanel Ligne Extreme No. 31 Encre Noire liquid eyeliner
(which has one of the smallest brush I've ever seen and used)
Dior Maximizer
Dior Iconic mascara
Dior Addict lipgloss (I think it was Evening Rose)
Some individual Wimp'rs eyelashes

Btw she was so lovely and got me the same eyeshadow palette by BeYu ^^ how nice of her!

That's it! I hope you like this post as much as I did.

Read you soon again,

Primer review! Essence vs. Clarins vs. Urban Decay

Heeey guys,

I'm showing you some eyeshadow bases or primers as you probably call them, I've been using so far.

They are completly different from each other, with different price classes and different in application.

Starting with essence: I <3 STAGE eyeshadow base

This eyeshadow base has a nice creamy texture. It’s nude shade and it doesn’t contain shimmer. It contains 4ml of product which could be more. I’ve used it a couple of times and it worked nicely for me. It stayed in place for hours on my eyelids, I'd say it can last at least 8-10 hours which is long for a drugstore eyeshadow base. You can get it for only 2,45€.
The brush is very good to work with while applying it on the lid but you have to use your fingers to get it really equal and it needs a bit time to dry

Pros: The brush/applicator, the price & the lasting
Cons: drying time, the color (it could be a bit lighter) & the amount

You probably have seen a brush like this only for lipgloss! ^^
And I love using this one when I don't have much time to get ready and only need a nude look on my lids.

The 2nd primer is by Clarins: Instant Light "Eye Perfecting Base"

I love that it is a natural skin tone and blends into the skin so you get a more true color for the eyeshadow once applied. It keeps my eyeshadow on its place almost the whole day, let's say 10-12 hours. I don´t see the color of the eyeshadow changing only keeping the eyeshadow longer on your eyelids.
On the plus side, the package is convenient and the product did not irritate my eyes.
This product helps erase that “tired look” it also keeps eye makeup looking fresh all day. It comes in a pencil applicator that you must twist so there is no waiste. With the price of about 13€ it is quite expensive but a great product and you don’t need a lot of it.

Pros: Color, the pencil brush/applicator, lasting & package
Cons: Price

Last but not least: Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Base

I love this primer!!!
It evens out my skin tone, helps bring out the true colour of shadows, and makes eye makeup stick like glue. I find that it glides on very easily with no tugging to the delicate skin and for me it stays all day like over 16-18 hours and it doesn't crease (at least for me).

By far, the best eye primer I've tried!!! :D I owe the Original and Eden primer potions.
There are two more potions that are darker

However, like others, I hate the packaging. I could never tell how much product is left in the bottle, so I feel like a lot was going to be wasted and left behind in the curves and it's hard to reach unless you - quite literally - open the container.

Although I really like this eyeshadow primer, I think there are others on the market that do just as good of a job for a lower price, as this one costs 16€.

Pros: The color(s), lasting & design
Cons: The price & the package

IT'S UP TO YOU TO MAKE A CHOICE

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PRIMER??? ^^

With Love,

Irsada ;)
