NOTD - Plaid/Tartan Nails!

Ho Ho Hooo Merry Christmas :)

Just a little post to show you what I came up with yesterday for the holiday/winter season!

I was bored and since I haven't done anything interesting with my nails lately I suddenly had the idea, looking at my plaid Zara scarf, to do plaid nails. And this is the result :D

Two layers of red nailpolish and then I drew some vertical and horizontally black and silver lines. Took me quite some time but I was doing it while watching one of my favorite series ^^

 

My thumb and three middle fingers turned out quite good thought while I totally screwed up my pinky finger xD Compared to my right hand, my left turned quite good. I have to practise thought...

Deauty Box Of January!

Hello,

New year, new Deauty boxes! ^^

Starting with the Deauty box of January:

Menu of January:

This month I received 5 products! 4 full size products :)

PLANTE SYSTEM - Lip balm (full size)

"A good lip balm is always useful, especially when considering distributing enchanting kisses. This stick made ​​of beeswax and vegetable oil is 100% natural and contains no petrolatum or paraffin. I tried it only once on the lips but it feels quite nice and moistrizing on the lips.

Edit: I really strated to like this lip balsam. The formula feels nice on the lips! But unfortunately they aren't moisturized for a long time.

NARCISO RODRIGUEZ - Eau de Parfum 'For Her' (4 ml)

This scent smells like flowers. But I'm sorry this smells more like something my grandmother would wear. I don't think it smells young.

Edit: Still didn't use it more than once. I guess it failed.

ROCK BEAUTY LONDON - 4 Eyerock liner stickers (full size)

HMMMM... I DON'T KNOW! I mean the idea of it is cool but THESE stripes are way to thick, I can't imagine yet how this is supposed to look on my eyes or on any others eyes. I'm a bit disappointed about this product since I won't be using it or at least only one of them.

Edit: Ehm I found this at Claires lately... the only positive about it was that it costed almost the double at Claires. Still haven't tried any of the stickers.

JM - Nailpolish in Daredevil (full size)

"Men do not understand it but it is so we never have enough nail polishes. They will, however, no objection when we will appear radiant and treated (head to toe) in the doorway. This nail polish is beautiful ... so beautiful that we only wear it for fun. But this, of course men don't have to know. Full size & price: 10,95 €."

This seems to be my favorite product from the box. It screams more summer than this time of the year but I don't have a color like this yet and since a girl can never have enough nailpolishes (my opinion) I'm glad to add this little fellow to my collection. I actually like this color more than the black nailpolish I got last month which turned out to be just a normal black nailpolish that didn't show any of the red sprarkles, it contains in the bottle, on the nails.

Edit: The color looks really nice on the nails, I was positive surprised but then again disappointed concerning the lasting of it, it look good without splitting for only 2-3 days.

AVRIL - Eyeshadow duo in plum & lilac (full size)

After swatching the colors, they look quite okay. I really like the plum color. Pigmentation is okay but not comparable with brands like Urban Decay, Chanel, Dior, ... but what do you expect for 2,30 €?!

Edit: Okay, this was a surprise too. You can actually creat a lovely (smokey eyes) look with these ^^ and with a good primer they will last all day.

Final thoughts: I'm a bit disappointed about this months Deauty Box. I don't think that any of the products has the wow effect that would compense the other lame products. Sorry Deauty this time you didn't get me. I would probably not spend any money on these products if I would see them in the store. Well I guess you can't be always satisfied. I read a lot of people are often disappointed with their boxes, not particulary with the Deauty box but with other boxes too.

Deauty box of August - the 1 year anniversary box!

Hi Ladies,

It's deauty time again! And this month's deauty box is a special one because the Deauty box is already celebrating it's first birthday!

Pity, I couldn't enjoy these wonderful boxes from the begining on but I'm glad I found out about them cuz no other box is delivering to my country (Luxembourg). 

This month's special box contains 5 full size products that cost all together more or less 48 €. And there are two extras, one headband out of silk and as a client you can pick up an extra shower gel by Bioderma in the iU stores (but unfortunately they are only in Belgium).

Bioderma - Sensibio H20 (Full size)

I wanted to buy this for ages but always forgot it or never found them in the stores I was looking for a cleansing solution. Yesh!!!! Can't wait to see if it's really that good. And it's true that I've seen so many beauty gurus using the cleaner of Bioderma.

Maybelline - Baby lips (Full size)

I had this baby ball in blue, can't remember what taste it was, wasn't much using it althought it was good, maybe this one tastes better.

Garnier - Lisseur Optique (Full size)

Hmmm not that I need this already at my age but you never know. I'll give it a try anyway thought ;)

Clinique - Rouge Longtemps All Heart (Full size)

I must say this is my first Clinique lipstick! I never was really a fan of their lipsticks, they never catched my attention when I was at the counter, althought I love their Chubby Sticks!!!! I'm really glad that I got this little goodie to maybe change my mind about their lipsticks. Color looks good thought. ^^

Avril - Blush (Full size)

The pigmentation looks quite good to me. And I love these little goldish shimmer in it. We'll see if it can keep up with my other peach blushes. I also love the fact that this one is paraben free :)

Final thoughts: I really enjoy this month's Deauty box! All the stuff looks nice to me. The fact that all of these are full size products and would cost me almost 50 €, if I'd buy them seperately, is amazingly awesome. This box really payed off!!!!!! The only con in my eyes are the extra gifts they are promising, I can't really benefit from them, the sild headband I don't know what to do with it and I wish they would have included that shower gel by Bioderma immediately in this box. But all in all as I said before I'm really satisfied with this one!

BTW I'm thinking about doing a "Back to School Giveaway! It might be already up by the end of next week. I still have to buy some stuff for it ;)

Deauty Box Of July!

Hello again,

This month's deauty box arrived on time :)

Deauty box of July:

This month I didn't get an ordinary deauty box but the first eco friendly deauty box that containts 5 products that are 100% organic!!!! They call it the Deauty Respect Box.

Even the menu card was out of a different material than usual! It's printed on paper residues fruits and nuts based as well as recycled materials.

AVRIL - Bio certified pencil in copper bronze (Full size)

AVRIL - nailpolish in #19 red opera (Full size of 7 ml)

Well, we'll see about that! I guess it's time to remove my current nailpolish and try this one.

The Body Shop - Shea Sugar Body Scrub (Full size)

This smells sooooooo great, it feels like a really good peeling for the skin!
And it feels great to know that when you actually buy this or one of the other scents that you support school constructions in Africa. ^^

René Furterer - Shea Decovery Kit (3 x 15 ml)

The kind of hair I have! Since I dyed my hair blond some years ago it still hasn't recovered yet and I like trying new products that are especially made for that type of hair. So I tried them this morning and I don't know yet what to think of them. In all 3 is only like half of the product left, I'll guess I can only use them once more. What I dislike too is that for the shampoo such as for the condionner you have to wait twice 2 minutes, which I don't like because I'm such a unpatient person I can barely hold the 2 minutes condionner in my hair each time ;) and I the nourrishing cream smells strange, I don't know if I like the smell or not...

ALEPIA - Organic Black Caramel Premium Soap (Full size)

The past doesn't look good in my eyes, kind of discusting in the hands and it smells... not good either but I don't doubt what it's made for and that it's made of 100% natural product. So I tried it this morning and I found it kind of difficult to apply it even on the skin, most of the product glued on my shoulders and it was hard to blend it. But I have to be honest, when I removed it with the second hot shower, my skin felt so great ;)

Final thoughts: yaaaaaay my first nailpolish (nailpolish addict talking!) I like the fact that they did such a box and that I can experience organic products, which are often so expensive for someone like me. You automatically feel better than with normal products that contain everything possible in them and probably have also been animal tested without your knowledge. I also LOVE the fact that 4 of 5 products are full size products that cost 27,75€ together if you would try to get them seperately, which proves once again that the box is totally worth it. (Furterer samples not included)
