New Zoeva makeup brushes!

Hello my dear followers,

In my last post I shared some great promo codes with you and I used one of them too.

Since I had 20% off, I bought some new Zoeva brushes!

Have a look at the new Zoeva Bamboo vol.2 and Rose Gold Luxury vol.2 brush sets:

Bamboo set vol. 2

From left to right: Defined buffer - Face paint - Cream cheek - Highlight - Concealer buffer - Classic shader - Soft definer - Wing liner

Eight face and eye brushes, all vegan! They come with a brush holder and clutch.
The Vol. 2 Set is made of three renewable materials: Soft vegan taklon hair, bamboo wooden handles and golden colored aluminum ferrules refining the eco luxe design.

I had the first bamboo set and it was my very first set I bought and I loved it back then and I also love this one. It's very different from the first edition. I don't have many brushes left from that set cuz I gave some away to friends but I do have some left and they are used from time to time and it feels good to have some more. The hair feels very good on the skin, it is indeed very soft and I also love the feeling of the wooden handles.

Rose Golden Luxury Set vol 2

From left to right: Buffer - Luxe cheek finish - Luxe paint face - Luxe crese - Luxe smoky shader - Smudger - Brow line - Wing liner

Also eight brushes, same price, same quality.
Love the color of the handles, love the color of the aluminum ferrules, love the clutch that comes with it. "Feminine chic"
They are just beautiful, beautiful designed and made with a lot of love. I also love this Zoeva sign on the aluminium ferrules, they look special to me and they make me feel special. Glad to call them mine. Zoeva quality brushes, great hair, easy to clean and of course the amazing princessly design.

Tipp: When you buy a new set of brushes and they have these plastic forms, don't throw them away, keep them and everytime you wash your brushes put them back on in order for them to keep their shape ^^

Both sets cost 65€, each. I would say the price is okay for the quality you get. You won't be disappointed with no matter wich set you choose! The clutches/packaging are a dream.

Thanks for stopping by!

ZOEVA Love is a Story & Rodeo Belle!

Hey my pretty ladies,

I purchased two of the 4 new Story eyeshadow palettes that Zoeva brought out recently ^^ and I thought I'd show you what they look like and do some swatches!

Both palettes hold 10 eyeshadows! They are very slim and easy to cary around. You can get them seperately for 16,80 € each or all 4 palettes for 60 €. I only bought these two palettes because I thought they look the most spectacular. I already do owe a few natural palettes and I didn't like the colors from the Retro Future palette very much.

LOVE IS A STORY

I love the packaging and color of this palette, it is very very cute! There is a quote inside of it that says 'Forgive quickly. Kiss slowly. Love truly.' It has some bright colors but also some smokey, half are matt the other half shimmery. Appearently according to Pixiwoo, this palette also includes a few good dupes to some MAC colors. Over You is a dupe for MAC Ochre, Ladylike is a perfect match for MAC Jewel Blue and Past Romance a dupe for MAC Creme de Violet.

without flash light:

with flash light:

I think Past Romance, Man with a Plan, Little Kiss and Old fashioned look the most stunning. Unfortunately while I swatched this palette the simmer that you can obviously see in Past Romance don't show up, a little bit disappointing! But I still think it's a beautiful palette ;)

RODEO BELLE

At first when Zoeva showed some sneek peak picutres of the new palettes, I wasn't that much interested with this palette. But when other bloggers received these palettes (before they came out) and did some reviews on them, I kind of was even more in love with THIS palette that Love is a Story who I knew I would have to buy.

Now look at this stunning poping colors. My favorites from this palette would probably be Cactus Flower, Western Diva, Bang Bang, Hot Wind & Smoking Gun. Smoking Gun looks like a light metallic blue color but it's more a silver color on the lid and kind of darker than it looks like and Deadshot does not do it justice, it's a good dupe for MAC Beauty Marked but actually blends much better.

I received two little primers with the 2 palettes I bought. I haven't tried them yet so I can't give you any feedback on them yet!

All in all I would say these new Zoeva palettes are really really great. They are affordable and the pigmentation comes close to my beloved Urban Decan and MAC eyeshadows ;) you can order these and more amazing Zoeva products on their website http://www.zoeva-shop.de

Stay tuned for more soon!

My Autumn Look!

Hello,

Since it's Autumn, it's time to take out all the fall colors like brown, burgundy, green, orange & yellow ;)

That goes for clothes such as for the eyes! I bought a new eyeshadow palette. Sleek Vintage Romance, which is a brand new palette, to be more precise. It includes bright brown, pink & purple and darker colors in it and they all have the names of cities like for example: pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, List in LA, Romance in Rome, ... 11 of 12 colors are shimmery except one, 'Purpose in Prage' (which I used in my crease). Really beautiful colors for a ridicilously cheap price.

My Summer Favorites!!!

Hi lovelies,

I saw my last chance to do this post before it's really too late. I'll guess in some places it is still summer, well not here anymore but maybe not that far away you can still call it summer weather. Fall really hit us here ;)

So my favorite products of this summer were:

Hermes Eau des Merveilles - Jil Sander Eve - NYX blush in 'Dusty Rose' - NYX blush in 'CB02 Natural' - Catrice Eye Brow Stylist in '020 Date with Ash-ton - Catrice Lash/Brow Designer - bo-ho in 'TC04 Terre de Provence' - Sleek Pout Polish in '964 Peach Perfection' - NXY lipliner pencils in '810 Natural, 843 Citrine & 845 Hot Pink' - The Balm Shelter in light - Benefit They're Real mascara - Urban Decay supercurl curling mascara - The body needs (MAC sample) in 'Impassioned' - Catrice liquid gold topper (LE) - Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Brillant Tonic for dry & damaged hair- Zoeva Mineral Highlighter in 'A53 Summer Light'  & Bronzer in 'B53 Sun over Shoulder' - Chanel in '667 Bel-Argus - Essence in '138 L.O.L - P2 in '010 adorable, 030 seductive & 060 strict' - Pandora (no name or #) - Rimmel London Hide the Blemish Concealer in '002 Sand' - L'Oréal Elnett Sation 230C Heat Protection

On my face:

The Balm Shelter: is a tinted moisturizer/BB cream with an SPF of 18! This summer I didn't feel like wearing a heavy foundation on my face. I tried a few BB creams but I didn't like any of them except this one. The others made my face look like orange and the balm shelter adapted my skin tone. I love the smell of it and it leaves a polished complexion on your skin. Very hydrating and I love the fact that it has an SPF of 18 which makes it perfect for summer. I also liked to use it for gym ;) I used it so often but it still feels like it's full, I'm gonna definitely buy a new one when it's empty!!! (I should show you how I do a no makeup makeup look with it) Zoeva Mineral Hightlighter & Bronzer: These are new products by Zoeva Cosmetics, launced this summer and the names of them 'Summer Light' & 'Sun over Shoulder' already tell you that they were made for summer :) I never used to use mineral highlighter, bronzer or even blush but they are very good actually. I forgot to include some of their mineral blushes but I think I'll do a all Zoeva products post soon in which I will talk more about their products and show some swatches ;) bo-ho Terre de Provence: is a terracotta blush/bronzer! I got this wonderful product in one of my Deauty boxes. You can use it only on your cheekbones or as a bronzer all over your face. It gives you a healty glow. It's 100% natural, no parabens, no mineral oils, no phenoxyethanol & no PEG!!! Rimmel London Hide the Blemish concealer: conceals perfectly spots, blemishes and is also nice for under the eye area! NYX Dusty Rose: is a light rose blush that is very high pigmented and has a few sparkles in it. NYX Natural: is a rouge cream blush! OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blush. It's the only cream blush I have (how come that? I don't know!). It so highly pigmented that you barely need some of it and it blends perfectly in. I really need to get more of their cream blushes the next time or even try other cream blushes!!! :D

On my eyes:

Urban Decay supercurl curling mascara: has a great brush that curls your lashes very nice throught and puts the right amound of mascara on them and the do not stick together. You can even brush throught afterwards. This is the kind of mascara the more your brush throught your lashes the better and more stunning they turn out. Benefit They're Real mascara: do I actually have to say something to this mascara? I think this product speaks for itself. Sephora's bestseller products #1!!! It sells like every 5 seconds. And it is worth it's money! Catrice liquid gold topper: this is a limited edition launced this summer. You can use it as a topper or all over your lid as a color. It sparkles and sparkles and you'll never see more gold then this little products provides. Catrice eye brow stylist: this is actually a lighter shade than I normally use on my brows but this summer. What made me buy it? The name! hahaaa I immediately thought of Ashton Kutcher LOL I decided to keep my brows a bit lighter and now for fall I'll wear a more bold look ;) Catrice lash/brow designer: defines and holds the brows in shape!

On my lips:

Sleek Pout Polish: in 'Perfect Peach' is a moistruzing tinted balm for the lips! It has a SPF of 15 which gives enought moisture and protection for your lips in summer. They come in a wide range of shades from dark to light. The Body Needs MAC sample: in 'Impassioned' is a nice color for summer. I put it mostly after I used my NYX hot pink lippencil (all over the lips = which gives it a longer lasting ;)) If you don't know about these MAC samples or wanna see a swatch of it click >>> HERE <<< NYX lipliner pencils: in '810 Natural, 843 Citrine & 845 Hot Pink'. I used these as a base for lipsticks but mostly I used them alone, all over my lips which is sometimes a good alternative to lipsticks and the lasting can be even longer than some lipsticks.

On my nails:

Chanel le vernis: in '667 Bel-Argus' is such a stunning metalic blue color. It's looks like the sea on your nails ^^ Essence Color & Go: in '138 L.O.L. This color is really fun. It's lemon green and very unique in my eyes! P2 Sand Style polishes: in '010 adorable, 030 seductive & 060 strict': OMG I love these!!!! BTW adorable looks like OPI Teenage Dream to me ;) Pandora: I got this for free when I bought something at their shop =D heheeeee It looked to me like a Tiffany blue color in the bottle but it's more grass green, which is a nice color for summer ;) Unfortunately, I can't tell you the number or name of it because there is no written on it :O

I might includes some swatches the next days when I found some time ;)

On my hair:

Schwarzkopf GLISS KUR Brillant Tonic: is a treat for dry and damaged hair. It gives the hair more shine. After you washed and dried your hair, you put this in without rinsing! It also smells amazing!!! L'Oréal Paris Elnett Satin: is a very good heat protection you apply in your hair before drying and smoothing it! This one is especially for smooth hair and give it a 3 days smoothing.

Favorite fragrances:

HÉRMES - Eau des Merveilles: Eau de toilette 30ml. I wanted this fragrance for years and it was always just the price of it that made me not buy it! Until I recently discovered a 30ml bottle of it that was affordable in my eyes. It smells like Amber, wood and has  a hint of orange to it. I also think that the bottle looks very cute =D And this is the only thing I owe of HERMES. At least one thing! Good for the beginning. Jil Sander - EVE: Eau de toilette 30ml. This is my holy grail!!!! The smell of it is described as: perfect harmony of wild rose, Arabian jasmine and violet, laid on the basis of cashmere accords and cadence of Indonesian patchouli. I fell in love with it once I got the sample of it and from then on I bought this over and over again. I need like 5-7 bottles a year of it. hahaaa It smells like summer all over the year and I get so many compliments on it! I already made like 3 other people buy it and they love it as much as I do now ;D

OH NOO, one of these post that unintentionally turn into a roman XD I hope you still enjoyed it! I just couldn't stop myself!

BTW if you wonder why there are no other eyeshadows included in this post, it's simply because I didn't have no specific favorite eyeshadow colors. I used almost every day an other color.

Have a nice day!

My wedding styling!

Hey guys,

Last weekend one of my many cousins got married!!!! ^^ As you might know I have Balkan origins and that means there was of course a big Balkan wedding with lots of folklore dancing ;) That was a hell of a wedding, my feet hurt like hell for at least 2 days and I was tired for a few more days.

This is my cousin in her beautiful white wedding dress:

My cousin with her husband

In her other dress, with her two brothers:

DRESS

And here you can see me with some family of mine!

I was wearing a long black H&M dress with a upper and bottom part that is semi-transparent and oppen on the sides which is really great when you dance. I knew I wanted to wear a long dress since everybody else would wear a short dress and I also wanted to try out this new semi-transparent trend ^^ I was also wearing a black satine waterfall jacket over it cuz back then it was still freezing and not as hot as these days.

ACCESSOIRIES

My gold bag was also from H&M, the gold-black chain was borrowed from a friend who actually got it from another friend of mine while a shopping trip in NY. I was so busy that morning that I didn't had the time (or maybe also forgot about it) to put on some earings or other jewellery. And my black shoes with little black stones, that shimmer in the light, are from Jumex. I like them but I will never ever wear new shoes to a wedding again lol Up to 8 hours in new shoes can't end good!

HAIR

I got my hair done by a friend that works a hairdresser. Once again I wanted something different than usual. I went for a hair bun with a braid that goes from the front to one side and I also had a braid under my hair bun. (First 3 pictures are right from the hairdresser, no make up alarm!).

And this is what it looked like when I was done with my styling and ready to leave for the wedding! I really loved it and I also got a lot of compliments for it :D A huge thanks again to my friend Jess for that!

MAKEUP

Since I was in such a hurry I wasn't able to take pictures of my makeup from that day and after I got back from the wedding it wasn't that good looking anymore (lot of tears of joy, you know ;)) and so I recreated it ^^

Don't be scared about my highlighting and contoring, I know I look like a crazy person with war paint!!!! xD But blended out it turned out into this:

FACE

P2  Perfect Face makeup base
Revlon Photo Ready foundation in 004 Nude
Zoeva cream highlighter and bronzer (concealer palette)
Sleek Face Contour kit powder in light
Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Pink Quartz (more hightlighter)
NARS Organsm blush
P2 Ferfect Face! finish powder in 010 white brilliance
Urban Decay All Nighter long lasting makeup setting spray

I was applying first the face primer, then the foundation, the I was using the highlighter and contor color from the Zoeva concealer palette and after I blended them out I had to do the whole highlighting and contoring thing again with powder (that's what you do for a long lasting, powder over cream ;) as powder of foundation). And then I also applied some blush and transparent powder over the whole face + the UD all nighter spray.

LIPS

NYX lipliner pencil in 810 Natural
MAC Please me lipstick

For the eyes I decided to also go for gold-black eyes! ^^

EYES
Catrice prime & fine eyeshadow base
Sleek yellow/gold eyeshadow (from the sunset palette, lid, blended out)
Sleek matt black (from the same palette, crease & upper lashline, blended out)
Sephora Jumbo Liner in Gold (on top of th lid, slightly blended out)
Maybelline Liner Express eye liner in black
Benefit they're Real! mascara
Catrice gel eye liner in #10 Black Jack with Jack Black (waterline)
Essence eyeborw stylist set (dark color)
Catrice lash/brow designer (to keep my brows in shape)

As mentioned above I was in such a hurry when I got back from the hairdresser that I had to do my makeup very fast and I had no time left to put on false lashes, nor to put on more jewellery nor to do my nails xD I guess for the next wedding I will plan sooner and better!

Foto

I wish my cousin all the best with her husband. May they be happy together for the rest of their lives :)

Have a great sunny week!

Zoeva, Tarte, Coastal Scents - My Big Haul!

Hi my lovelies!!!

I placed a few orders 2 weeks ago and got them all this week. So I thought of doing a little haul post for you. It's about 3 great brands you might know or not yet. 2 of them are also new to me and one I love since last year. Here is

ZOEVA

I felt like I need more brushes for the face, especially for powder, foundation and the cheeks. And since I gave almost my whole Zoeva set I already owned away (to a friend who had none at all) I wanted to order new Zoeva brushes and decided to go for the face brush set which looks like this:

Plus there is a little brush cleanser that comes with it too. Only used them once so far. I'm not at all disappointed about them but I guess I need more time with them to really give a honest opinion about them.

I also order this beautiful blush palette with it. It's the Zoeva Sun Power palette, which I can't wait to use as soon as it's sunnier outside:

Really good pigmentation so far. There is even a color that reminds me a lot of Nars Orgasmn. Also can't wait to use this in a tutorial.

TARTE

Tarte cosmetics is a brand that is more and more growing in the makeup world. It's available in the US Sephora stores but not yet here in Europe, I hope this will soon be over and that tarte products will found their place in the local stores. The wonderfull wonderfull Lina from Lina'sBeautyDiary (<<< FOLLOW HER) brought me two palettes of this amazing brand from her New York City trip last week. One of these palettes I wanted to get for sure, the other she chosed for me since the Lorac palette (I also wanted) wasn't available. A HUGE THANKS AGAIN to her <3

Tarte Amazonian clay eye and cheek palette:

What an amazing design!!!!!! I fell immediately in love with this palette when I saw it for the very first time in a Youtube video. It looks like a purse. Like a beautiful purse. And is perfect for travel.

It includes two blushes and 6 eyeshadows all different from each other:

I swatched the blushes for you and the upper eyeshadow row:

Two example looks that you can create with this palette, given by tarte.

Tarte natural eyes volume II palette:

Another tarte palette that is very beautiful, handy and in purse style. I don't know if all their palette are supposed to look like a purse, I'm not that familiar with this brand yet.

This palette includes 10 natural eyeshadows, the upper row has only matte colors while the lower row only has shimmery colors. Also it contains a little eyeshadow brush and a eye pencil in brown.

The pigmentation of the tarte shadows look good to me. I haven't been wearing any of the tarte colors yet so I can't tell anything more about them yet but I sure will in the futur. (or maybe edit this post)

COASTAL SCENTS

This is probably the Us counterpart to the german brand Zoeva. I ordered two fo the GO palettes, 3x the pro blending fluff brush and the 22 brush set!

Coastal Scents Beijing & London GO palettes:

Each palette includes 12 mini colors and each palette is representing an international city. There are some more like Paris, Cairo, Sydney, Moscow,... . I looked at some reviews before buying them and was aware of the fact that not all of the 12 colors are the same pigmented but I'm looking forward to try them and well see what I think of them.

Pro blending Fluff brush:

I'll guess you can never have enough blending brushes. Wayne Goss was introducing me to this brush. He said it like the MAC 217 just in the cheap version. One costs 4,95$ while the 217 cost about 25$ if not more. I might do a comparison post with other 217 dupes.

Coastal Scents 22 Brush Set:

So this is the brush set I ordered along with the other stuff. It has a nice synthetic leather case with the big Coastal Scents letters on it. What I didn't like about this set is the smell that came with it when I outpacked it but after a few hours it was gone, nows it slighty smelling like synthetic.

There is a big fan brush on the left side when you open it and a zipper next to it with a bit of storage place for other stuff you might wanna carry with this set.

And this is what the whole thing looks like :)

From L to R: 1. Large Fan, 2. Powder Buffer, 3. Round Powder, 4. Flat Buffer, 5. Angle Blush, 6. Foundation, 7. Concealer, 8. Large Shadow, 9. Blender, 10. Doe Foot Blender, 11. Dome Shadow, 12. Dome Blender, 13. Medium Shadow, 14. Detail Shadow, 15. Lip, 16. Detail Concealer, 17. Pointed Blender, 18. Brow, 19. Smudger Sponge, 20. Large Liner/Brow, 21. Medium Liner/Brow, 22. Small Liner/Brow:

LIKE: the price of 35$, certainly a good set for beginners
DISLIKE: The brush are not numbered neither is written on them what they are from, you have to trust the description of the page and kind of learn it by heart.

Brush guards:

I decided to get and try brush guards. They are supposed to help the brushes stay in their form once they are cleaned and not used.

My little gift from Coastal Scents:

I got this little palette of 4 eyeshadow colors as a gift with my order. ^^ Very nice and cute! yay

So as a few times mentioned above, all these products are new and I haven't used them not that much or at all to do already reviews about them but I will and the respective reviews will come. ;)

Keep it reading ^^
