Deauty Box Of December!

Almost Christmas! My deauty box of December arrived just on time. Before the coming holidays Deauty send me a box with stuff that will make sure I am prepared and all looking good from head to finger nails ^^

This box is also more wrapped than a present than usually. Very pretty I must say :D

This month I received 5 goodies:

Uhhhhh sounds like a really good young unit fountain. The fact that 30 ml are 65,00 € probably means it's exclusive.

PLANTE SYSTEM - Massage Candle (full size)

OMG this smells sooooooo good it makes me even fall into a heavy daydream before lighting it and I had no clue something like this even existed, what an amazing idea. I guess I will use it after Christmas, on myself. Yeahhhhh I don't have a boyfriend who can put it on me or I on him, shame on me but we girls always know how to help ourself ;)

Edit: Still no boyfriend, still no use.

MAYBELLINE - Color Show in '#291 Lights out' (full size)

That really is a color I would wear. However looking at it from the way it looks in the bottle I kind of have 1 or 2 colors that are very similar ot this one but we'll see how it appears on the nails. (post coming soon)

Edit: The color doesn't show off as it looks in the bottle, it's actually just a black polish. And the lasting didn't please me either.

FRUCTIS - Miraculous oil (full size)

Okay, this is really really amazing! I ALWAYS need products like these. Especially heat protections! And it smells so good, well argan it a really nice smell. Only con: your hands are really oily for minutes after applying some to your hair. 

Edit: This is really is a nice product. I can't find anything bad to say about it!

BIOTHERM - BB Cream (5 ml)

The smell of it reminds me of something but I can't tell you what it is. However it also smells really nice. Swatching it on my hand back it blended into my skin immediately without leaving any tracks which makes me pretty excited to test it on my face tomorrow.

Edit: I gotta be honest. I don't know where I put this... ohhh, I'm so bad.

Final thoughts: I wasn't flashed unboxing this month's box but after reading the menu I was more and more happy about each product actually. It doesn't look spectacular but I believe it is :) And OMG there are 3 full size products that would cost 23 € together if I would go to the store to buy them seperately. Don't forget the Deauty box cost 15 € every month and I got 2 more products!!!!

NAKED 3 - LOVE LOVE LOVE

Time to get NAKED again!!!

Nooooooo, do not take your clothes off! I was talking about the new Urban Decay NAKED 3 palette that came out these days and if you haven't bought it or found it yet it's because it's probably sold out. It looks similar to the NAKED 2 and also comes with an dual-ended eye brush and a week’s worth of samples of each of their primers.

I first couldn't believe there was a new NAKED palette and I remember I first thought this was a joke when I saw the first pictures of it on instagram. But then more and more makeup artist had it and then I just couldn't wait anymore to get it too.

This palette has 12 brand new eyeshadows! 3 of the shades: strange, limit & nooner are matt colors; darkside has a semi-matt finish and the rest of the colors are shimmery.

MOST ASKED QUESTION: IF I ALREADY HAVE THE 1ST AND THE 2ND NAKED PALETTES,

DO I REALLY NEED THIS ONE TOO?

 If you ask me personally YES YES YES

Compared to the first which has more bronze-toned shades and the second palette which has more taupe-toned shades, the third NAKED palette has more pink-toned colors. I believe that rosy toned neutral colors really suit every eyecolor and are working better for all day, therefore I would say this might be the best NAKED palette released so far :D

FAVORITE SHADES? I was all the way in love with Blackheart, that color looks so stunning O.O but I also like Liar, Nooner, Buzz & Trick.

The 4 Urban Decay Primer Potions

The original, sin, eden & anti-aging. I personally only tried the original and eden. The original is not bad on my eye but I prefer eden, the color turns out more stunning and I think the lasting is even better than with the original primer. Each sample pd holds about a week's worth of primer!

Crease & shadow brush

 

Compared to the brush that comes with the NAKED 2, it is a bit smaller. The crease brush has shorter hair but is more fluffier, the shadow brush is almost the same just this one is a bit larger than the one from the NAKED 2.

PRICE? I think in dollars it is 52 $ but in Europe it is available for 45 €. I only payed 38 € because I had some money left on a gift card I got some months ago for my birthday ^^

I love that it has almost the same great packaging and brushes as the 2nd NAKED palette :)
 I haven't tried them on my eyes yet but I will sure post soon some creations with it!

NOTD - Chanel TABOO

Today's NOTD is a special one. It's one of Chanel's topselling nailpolish called '#583 TABOO' ^^

I saw this so many time on instagram, seems like every famous fashionista is a fan of it. It was released this year (2013) in Spring.

It's described as a 'violine with red iridescence'. It's a deep purple with a red and blue ton to it with purple, red, blue and pink sparkles. Indoors it looks more like a blackened pruple. If you find it too dark, you could put on two coat, take a pad with some acetone on it and slightly go over yours nails to remove some of the purple, then you'll have a more red color. But I LOVE the color the way it comes from the bottle, it is like you have the galaxy on your nails. It's already opaque after one color but is recommanded to use two coats and a topcoat for a shiny finish. Pretty long holding up to one week with minor tip wear. I don't know how you feel about Chanel polishes but for me they have an amazing formula, easy to apply and longlasting!

This month I only got 4 products (cuz they count the lashes and the glue together) but for me it feels more like 5.

 

BEE NATURE - Honey soap (42 gr)

YES YES YES!!!! These lashes look amazing... yay and I hope the glue is good because I run out of the one I use normally. I already know when I will were these, for new year eve of course!

RAINPHARMA - day cream (full size)

Final thoughts: I'm quite satisfied with this box. It pays off all alone for the lashes and the glue O.O but reading the menu my enthusiasm got bigger because that are sure great products for this cold time of the year.

OMG I prayed for a product for around the eyes and here it finally is! I so need this, you have no idea! Now that the season changed, from warm to cold, from light to dark, I sleep so bad lately. And you can see that. So this is really what I needed.

Edit: I'd say quite a good product. While applying you can feel how it gets into the skin. :)

NUXE - prodigious cream (15 ml)

Hmmm, I love the prodigious oil I got in my first deauty box, so maybe this finds a special place on my stackler too :) We'll see...

Edit: If only I would pay more attention to my stackler... or wouldn't be so tired before going to bed.

Paul Mitchell - tea tree, mint and lavender shower gel (Full size)

This sounds good but it smells awefull... so far! I haven't used it yet but maybe I change my mind.

Edit: This has quite a strong scent to it. I don't like that and it didn't feel so great on the skin.

Ducray - extra gentle shampoo (75 ml)

Edit: Hmmm, gentle yeah, stimulating the hair? not so sure about that.

Final thoughts: Hmmm, I like half of the stuff and the other half I already have at home. So this month the box could have been more special. And I want more makeup lol

NOTD - P2 Volume Gloss '120 Urban Queen'

It feels like ages since my last NOTD post! So here we go with a nice color by P2 (available only in Germany as far as I know) called Urban Queen from their Volume Gloss polish range!

These new Volume Gloss polishes came out this year, they have an cube bottle, which I think looks more expensive, and the brush is larger compared to the regular range, which I like better.

While the color in the bottle looked to me like light grey in the store and not so spectacular, I thought the gloss finish might turn it into a more beautiful color than it acutally is, but the real color on the nail has a grey-mauve undertone which makes it quite a really really nice color. 

Lasting is okay! They tend to tipwear after 3-4 days, which I think is really okay for a 2 bucks polsih aka drugstore polish. Full coverage after 2 coats. The gloss effect is also nice, it kind of looks like I used a top coat over it, although I didn't! But I don't think you can compare them with gel nails, sorry P2!

I really like this color and I will use it more often for sure! You can wear this with every outfit I guess.

Sorry, if my cuticles are disturbing looking! I'm washing my hands like every 10 minutes at work (because I have) so it's kind of hard to keep them nice. I try my best.

Deauty box of August - the 1 year anniversary box!

Hi Ladies,

It's deauty time again! And this month's deauty box is a special one because the Deauty box is already celebrating it's first birthday!

Pity, I couldn't enjoy these wonderful boxes from the begining on but I'm glad I found out about them cuz no other box is delivering to my country (Luxembourg). 

This month's special box contains 5 full size products that cost all together more or less 48 €. And there are two extras, one headband out of silk and as a client you can pick up an extra shower gel by Bioderma in the iU stores (but unfortunately they are only in Belgium).

Bioderma - Sensibio H20 (Full size)

I wanted to buy this for ages but always forgot it or never found them in the stores I was looking for a cleansing solution. Yesh!!!! Can't wait to see if it's really that good. And it's true that I've seen so many beauty gurus using the cleaner of Bioderma.

Maybelline - Baby lips (Full size)

I had this baby ball in blue, can't remember what taste it was, wasn't much using it althought it was good, maybe this one tastes better.

Garnier - Lisseur Optique (Full size)

Hmmm not that I need this already at my age but you never know. I'll give it a try anyway thought ;)

Clinique - Rouge Longtemps All Heart (Full size)

 

At Deauty, we celebrate our anniversary with color! Entrust your smile with the big brand Clinique lipstick that combines comfort and long-lasting. This red satin under the shades of brick, beige and pink is perfect for any occasion. Full size! Price: 21, 47 €."

I must say this is my first Clinique lipstick! I never was really a fan of their lipsticks, they never catched my attention when I was at the counter, althought I love their Chubby Sticks!!!! I'm really glad that I got this little goodie to maybe change my mind about their lipsticks. Color looks good thought. ^^

Avril - Blush (Full size)

"Brighten your complexion with this delicate blush thanks to April. Very pigmented, easy to apply and blends perfectly, it will enhance your cheeks with a veil of fresh and natural color. The plus? It contains no parabens! Full size! Price: 2,00 €."

The pigmentation looks quite good to me. And I love these little goldish shimmer in it. We'll see if it can keep up with my other peach blushes. I also love the fact that this one is paraben free :)

Final thoughts: I really enjoy this month's Deauty box! All the stuff looks nice to me. The fact that all of these are full size products and would cost me almost 50 €, if I'd buy them seperately, is amazingly awesome. This box really payed off!!!!!! The only con in my eyes are the extra gifts they are promising, I can't really benefit from them, the sild headband I don't know what to do with it and I wish they would have included that shower gel by Bioderma immediately in this box. But all in all as I said before I'm really satisfied with this one!

BTW I'm thinking about doing a "Back to School Giveaway! It might be already up by the end of next week. I still have to buy some stuff for it ;)
