New Zoeva makeup brushes!

Hello my dear followers,

In my last post I shared some great promo codes with you and I used one of them too.

Since I had 20% off, I bought some new Zoeva brushes!

Have a look at the new Zoeva Bamboo vol.2 and Rose Gold Luxury vol.2 brush sets:

Bamboo set vol. 2

From left to right: Defined buffer - Face paint - Cream cheek - Highlight - Concealer buffer - Classic shader - Soft definer - Wing liner

Eight face and eye brushes, all vegan! They come with a brush holder and clutch.
The Vol. 2 Set is made of three renewable materials: Soft vegan taklon hair, bamboo wooden handles and golden colored aluminum ferrules refining the eco luxe design.

I had the first bamboo set and it was my very first set I bought and I loved it back then and I also love this one. It's very different from the first edition. I don't have many brushes left from that set cuz I gave some away to friends but I do have some left and they are used from time to time and it feels good to have some more. The hair feels very good on the skin, it is indeed very soft and I also love the feeling of the wooden handles.

Rose Golden Luxury Set vol 2

From left to right: Buffer - Luxe cheek finish - Luxe paint face - Luxe crese - Luxe smoky shader - Smudger - Brow line - Wing liner

Also eight brushes, same price, same quality.
Love the color of the handles, love the color of the aluminum ferrules, love the clutch that comes with it. "Feminine chic"
They are just beautiful, beautiful designed and made with a lot of love. I also love this Zoeva sign on the aluminium ferrules, they look special to me and they make me feel special. Glad to call them mine. Zoeva quality brushes, great hair, easy to clean and of course the amazing princessly design.

Tipp: When you buy a new set of brushes and they have these plastic forms, don't throw them away, keep them and everytime you wash your brushes put them back on in order for them to keep their shape ^^

Both sets cost 65€, each. I would say the price is okay for the quality you get. You won't be disappointed with no matter wich set you choose! The clutches/packaging are a dream.

Thanks for stopping by!

My Real Techniques Collection

Hiii peeps,

I thought it would be a great idea to do an updated post of a post I already did some years ago, have a look >>>> HERE <<<<

Real Techniques brushes are my favorite brushes because they are just so handy, their unique design and the pay-off deal you make when you buy a set or single brush. I have some that are like 4 years old and I still use them almost every day and when I wash them they might look like they are new. Not a single brush died so far or has lost a big amount of hair if no at all.

Now let's be honest, just look at those amazingly designed brushes, every single is just beautiful. And everyone who owes a set will probably understand my love for this brand. I also included a few times a set in my giveaways and I only got good responses to them. I also never heard anyone complaining about them. Just a few people claimed the stippling brush would fall apart after some time but I haven't experienced that personally.

The only brushes I don't have YET are the brushes from the Bold collections but that's because they came out only recently and I'm waiting till they are available at the shops I would normally buy them.

PURPLE COLLECTION

You see 5 brushes that are included in the Starter Set (deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, accent brush, pixel-point eyeliner brush & brow brush), and the brushes I bought after my RT collection post are the domed shadow brush, the fine liner brush, the lash-brow groomer and recently I got the silicone liner brush.
  • Deluxe crease brush: I love using this brush for my cream concealers or for zit covering
  • Base shadow brush: I apply eyeshadow over the whole lid with it. The form of the hairs is well shaped, you could also blend your crease with it.
  • Accent brush: Great to apply eyeshadow under the eyes and for the inner corner of the eyes.
  • Pixel point eye liner brush: I only use this brush when I decide do a Cleopatra.
  • Brow brush: I know I said in my previous RT brush review that I don't like this brush so much but I found a eyebrow product I can use it perfectly with and I changed my opinion about it. Althought I belive it could be a bitter thinner thought.
  • Domed shadow brush: I haven't used it that much yet but I use it from time to time to apply an eyeshadow over the whole lid or to just blend my crease.
  • Fine liner brush: I prefer this liner brush over the pixel point eye liner brush because it's half as thick and you can apply your liner very thin and more precise
  • Lash-brow groomer: I haven't used it to brush throught my eyebrows much, I believe the hairs are way to hard for that but it's a great comb for the eyelashes thought
  • Silicone liner brush: I only used it once so far to apply my new Anastasia Beverly Hills cream colors as eyeliner and I thought it did a great job.
Nic's Picks Set

This is a limited edition set, grab it if you can before it's too late!!!!!!
I forgot the eyeliner brush on this picuture but I will update this picture when all of them are clean again. Sorry lol
  • Eyeliner brush: Only used it once since it's very much new but I like it. The angled head gives you optimal control for your eyeliner. This is a set exclusive, so you won't be able to get it as a single brush, another reason to buy this set.
  • Base shadow brush: This is the same brush as the the one that comes in the Starter set.
  • Angled shadow brush: Also a set exclusive! Perfect for layering eyeshadow in the crease, kind of of a blending brush.
  • Cheek brush: And another set exclusive!!!! I LOVE this brush, great to apply blush or bronzer on and under your cheeks, great for contouring.
  • Duo-fiber face brush: I like to use this brush for loose powder or to remove eyeshadow that fell off on under my eyes.
Base shadow brush:

The new vs. the old!!!

I think the new one has a slightly thicker shape than the old one. And of course they have different colors but only because they are from two different sets. They do the same job thought, I haven't noticed any difference in that and that's what counts. ^^

Duo-fiber face brush:

The old vs. the new!!!

Same brush and I can only say the same about these two as I did about the base shadow brush! The new one is slightly thicker when it comes to the shape, different color but same feeling while working with it.

DUO-FIBER COLLECTION:

Not such a big fan of this set. I believe you don't really need any of these brushes really.
  • Duo-fiber face brush: As mentioned above for lightweight application
  • Duo-fiber contour brush: I sometimes use this brush for my cream blushes or to apply loose powder under my eyes
  • Duo-fiber eye brush: For finishing touches to the eye.
PINK COLLECTION

From left to right: Setting brush, stippling brush,  multi task brush and the blush brush. I bought all of these as single brushes!
  • Setting brush: Great to apply hightlighter to the cheeks and powder under the eyes.
  • Stippling brush: My favorite stippling brush! Self-standing, handy and blends in foundation like a dream.
  • Multi task brush: For effortless powder, blush & bronzer application.
  • Blush brush: Another brush favorite! Beautiful and also photogenic brush lol And does the blush job so well
Collector's Edition Sculpting Set:

One of the newer sets that came out, it has a high-shine pink instead of the classic matte and it's a LIMITED EDITION!!!!!
  • Setting brush: Great to apply hightlighter to the cheeks and powder under the eyes.
  • Fan brush: Whisks away any excess of makeup.
  • Sculpting brush: Love, love, love this brush!!! The angled form of the brush allows to creat a defined contoured look but I also love to use it to apply my foundation and it does a really well job for that too.
Setting brush:

The new vs. the old!!!

Same brush I would same except for the high-shine pink instead of the matte.

ORANGE COLLECTION

From left to right: Powder brush, contour brush, essential foundation brush, expert face brush & buffing brush. Three of these brushes are from the Core Collection, I actually forgot to include the detailer brush in this picture, maybe because I never use it.
  • Powder brush: Great to apply hightlighter to the cheeks and powder under the eyes.
  • Contour brush: To contour or to create a sheer, soft focus finish
  • Essential foundation brush: I think this brush was renamed in the new core collection set. It's supposed for liquid foundations but I never use htis brush unless all my foundation brushes are dirty. Not a big fan of it, it has nothing special to me.
  • Expert face brush: Must have brush! I love the design, works so well for so many different things but mostly for foundation applying.
  • Buffing brush: Full coverage application of powder, mineral foundation and also great to apply blush or blend it in. My most used brush of all I have! You can see that I use it very often since the color of the brush washed out .
Miracle Complexion Sponge

Last but not least, the miracle complexion sponge! I love this sponge, one of the best on the market so far.
  • Grounded sides blend large areas of the face with a repeated dabbing or stippling motion.
  • Precision tip covers blemishes and imperfections.
  • Falt edge for the contours around the eyes and nose.
And you could probably do a lot more things with it. I have two of these :D
They are made from polyurethane foam which is latex free. They recommand you to replace this sponge every 3 months.

And that's it for my Real Techniques Collection show off!!! I wish you a great weekend and I hope you'll read more soon.

With much love,

NOTD - Marc Jacobs 142 Fluorescent Beige

Hiiii,

Since my last post was a bit more personal talk than an actual blogspot, I thought I'll do a NOTD post about the nailpolish that you could see on the picture from the last post ^^ I recently purchased two shades from the brand Marc Jacobs.

Been loving Marc Jacobs designs since I discovered the brand for the first time and when they launched a beauty line and nailpolishes I was beyond excitment :D

I wasn't at all disappointed with the design of the nailpolish bottle and I was going to try some of his makeup stuff anyway. They are just so pretty!!!! This is one of the two shades I got, it's called Fluorescent Beige. It was one of the colors that hypnotized me immediately with it's shimmer. The other color I bought is brighter, like almost a fuchsia pink and called Shocking!

Marc Jacobs said about this neutral color: "I love the idea of something neutral being really eye-catching, like the fluorescent beige."

With this iridescent beige color comes a pink shimmer, that unfortunately doesn't show as much on the nails as it shines through the bottle but you can still see it sometimes depending on the change of light and sometimes it seems more like a beige creme.

Sometimes it looks a bit more taupe and sometimes just like an old pink but no matter which color it seems like, it's ALWAYS beautiful.

The formula is a dream! It's a more milky formula which I thought I would not like until I tried this nailpolish ^^ You'll should get a perfect coverage with 3 thin coats.

You can get this beauty in the bottle at sephora.com for 18€/$.

 Thank you for reading!

Favorites of 2014

Hiii guys,

I put all my makeup favorites of 2014 for you together!

In the beginning of 2014 I got the Lorac Pro and a bit later the Urban Decay Naked 3. If you like a lot of neutral matte to shiny shades from light to dark then I suggest you the Lorac Pro palette and if you are more into neutral pinky colors then you need to get the Naked 3.

When it comes to highlighting and contouring, I loved the Maybelline Fit Me sticks a lot, they have a few shades from very light to very dark but if you blend them good in they can be the perfect base before you apply highlight and bronzer powder. If you scroll a bit down you can see that I reviewed these Fit Me sticks and how I use them.
I would sometimes use my Bourjouis chocolate bronzer over it and depending on how shiny I want my face to look like I would often swith from my MAC Rihanna Diamonds Frost to NYX Born to glow liquid illuminator, both are really good pigmented.
For the under eye part, in the morning when you wake up and you look like a zombie, I like to use the NARS radiant creamy concealer. This concealer is simply amazing, it works better on me than the Bourjouis healthy mix éclat & anti-fatigue correcting concealer.
And to fix, especially the under eye part, I like to use loose powder and my favorite has become the MaxFactor Ellen Betrix loose powder. I just tap my Real Techniques setting brush into it and then put some over my radiant concealer. You can't do anything wrong using those two products together ;)

In Spring I purchased the Benefit Sugarbomp blush, it's a rush flush, 4 shades that you have to swirl to get the perfect mix of pop of color on your cheeks. Like all Benefit blushes, really beautiful and all day staying!

For the eyebrows you can't find any better products than those from Anastasia Beverly Hill, they really do what they promise. I got the dip brow pomade in "Chocolate" and can't imaging life without it anymore.

From the brows to the eyes. Gel liner. Bobbi Brown... Do I have to say more? I don't think so. Buy it! You won't deny it.

And back to Anastasia Beverly Hills.
After summer I got my hands on the ABH Amrezy palette which is absolutely georgous I think every great MUA has reviewed this palette with big excitement & loved it and so do I. MUST HAVE PALETTE!!!!

Last but not least: mascaras.
There were 3 apart from my Benefit They're real mascara, that I also loved to use.
Artdeco Wonder Lash mascara, this mascara is told to be the exaclty same as the famous Chanel mascara, whose exact I can't tell you right now. It does a really great job.
Catrice Glamour Doll volume mascara, in case you don't want to spend that much money this is a really great drugstore mascara that I'll keep buying as soon as I'm out of it.
And of course a new love that I discovered: L'Oréal Faux-Cils papillon or better known as the butterfly mascara! Really like the brush, it makes them longer and the formula isn't that clumpy.

That's it for 2014. Last chapter closed!

If you wonder why I haven't picked any foundations, it's because I practically used always the same in 2014 but since 2015 started I already tried 2 new foundations and also 2 new mascaras plus one eyebrow product that I fell in love with but that I will all tell you more specifically in another post ;)

Have a nice week

My experience with the Zigavus Extra Plus Garlic Shampoo!

Hi guys,

I wanted to share my experience with the Zigavus Extra Plus garlic shampoo with you! I know what you must think now, garlic shampoo? Ihhhhhhh how can somebody only use that and what is it good for??? Well, don't worry! This shampoo might be made out of garlic but it doesn't smell like it at all otherwise I wouldn't have tried it xD

Zigavus Extra Plus Garlic/Knoblauch Shampoo

FOR ALL TYPES OF HAIR
NATURAL PLANT EXTRACT

DOES NOT INCLUDE GARLIC ODOR
DOES NOT INCLUDE DYES
DOES NOT INCLUDE FRAGRANCES

DO NOT LOSE HAIR, LET IT GET STRONG

Effects: It takes effect within 10 days when regularly used. It prevents hair loss and straightens hair follicles.
It makes hair healty, vivid resistant and strong, and prevents hair loss thanks to the rich substances in its garlic extract.
The garlic extract shampoo helps you clean the dead layer of epidermis sensitively and prevents dandruff formation. It helps your hair have its natural beauty.
Those who have been hair implanted can use this product with no problem.

Use: Apply a certain amount of shampoo to your hair by first massaging the shampoo over your wet hair, then rinse. Apply the same procedure for a second time and wait for 2-3 minutes. Therefore, the substances within the garlic extract will penetrate into the hair skin. Rinse your hair with plenty of water finally. Do not use any other products in order to benefit from the Zigavus Garlic Shampoo.

Before and after the Zigavus treatment!!!

fyi: I tried to take the pictures from the same distance as good as I could and my pony tail should be at the same place as usual. Also if my hair seems lighter on the right picture it's because I have more highlights in it.

So as you can see, my hair is longer than it was almost two months before the treatment and you have to consider the fact that I was also at the hairdresser and got my hair also cut for about 1-2 cm since it was time again.

I do believe that it's also a bit thicker than it was and slightly more healthier looking, althought I am such a catastrophe when it comes to my hair cuz I'm always straightening it or curling it and often forget to put some oil in it and it's dry as straw almost always anyway.

What I also liked about the shampoo, is that I didn't lose much hair while washing as I did before with other shampoos. Concerning that I would really recommand this to anybody who has a big hair loss problem.

So do I believe that my hair growth was influenced by this shampoo???
My hair does actually grow fast but since I was at the hairdresser and got it cut I would say yes I do believe that this shampoo helped me. A few friends of mine also noticed that my hair is longer :D so I guess this was the prove for me.

If you're interested in buying this shampoo I ordered mine at Zigavus.de, for 150 ml you have to pay 20 €, shipping is 4,10 € and you can pay with paypal. I think the price is okay for such a special treatment and since you don't need a big amount of it, only a hazelnut, it can last up to almost 2 months I would say.

I will order and use this again whenever I feel it's time again!!!

Thanks for reading
and have some nice holidays ;)

Makeup haul : Sleek Arabian Nights palette - I heart makeup blushes - Makeup Revolution

Hello back again!!!

Did you miss me? Cuz it's been almost 2 months since my last post. Sorry for that! Now if you wonder what happened. Life happened. I was busy working, also working out and constantly tired, way too tired and busy to find some time to do post and everytime I was motived to take pictures, my photo programm was on strike and didn't do things I wanted it to do. I also decided to take some time off blogging to return with full motivation and new inspiration. While I was on blogging break I also finally managed to find a new job that I will start on the 2nd of january yaaaaaaaaaay :D

Good new are, I will earn like the triple I did before and that also means I will soon be able to afford more makeup and other great things LOL

But to come back to my actual blog post, I'm starting with a makeup haul, ordered this stuff a month ago but as already said didn't find the energy and time to upload all these pictures, so here we go...

Kosmetik4less.de haul:

They promoted the new I <3 makeup brand on their facebook page and that's how these heart shaped blushes got my attention. They immediately reminded me of the too faced heart blushes, which I don't owe yet but remember that raise I'll be given in January, we'll change that soon and then I can even tell you if these are also dupes to them or just a copy cat. Ordered also the Makeup Revolution kajal, yeah also because of the packaging, since I always wanted to try these kind of kajals. And last but not at all least, the Sleek Arabian Nights palette! Don't ask me how many Sleek palettes I owe meanwhile. I can't tell until I look it up.

I <3 makeup triple baked blushes + hightlighter

From left to right: Candy Queen of Hearts - Peachy Keen Heart - Hightlighter

There were one or two more blushes but I only wanted to try these two for the beginning. And this brand also has a bronzer but it didn't make any sense for me to buy a bronzer in winter so I only went for the highlighter because highlighter you can wear every season :)

Blushing Hearts - Candy Queen of Hearts:

Blushing Hearts - Peachy Keen Heart:

The two blushes seemed quite pigmented while swatching them. When you apply them on the cheeks you don't need much product, they apply easy but fade away after a few hours so you need to do a touch up. I find it hard to only use one color, you always seem to take some of the color next to it too but thumbs up that they turned out to be better than I thought and they don't leave any fall out.

Goddes of Love -  triple baked highlighter :

When I'm swatching this with my fingers it seems pretty pigmented but while using a brush there was almost no payoff or difference over my cheek bone. Also the blushes are very shimmery and there is no need using this highlighter with them. I'm a bit disappointed, I wonder if the bronzer has a similar payoff or is as quite as pigmented as the blushes.

Makeup Revolution Black Kajal

Once again I fell for the packaging and because my sister in law, who is Algerian, is always using one of these, but I think hers is high end cuz this one doesn't perform that well. I only used it so far on my waterline and I believe these are actually only for that. It's okay but doesn't knock me from my seat. They are better ordinary kajals out there!

Sleek i-Divine Arabian Nights eyeshadow palette

This also has a really beautiful packaging but I fell more for the name of it, who doesn't love arabian eyes? I'm a huge fan of these looks. I'm not one of these people who throws away all kind of makeup packages lol I'm keeping some in a drawer... yeah I know why actually?! I don't know I just can't throw away something as nice as this. Since this is a limited edition palette I ordered one for me and one for a friend.

It has a mix of smokey colorful but also neutral colors. Some of the colors are shimmery, some more metalic and others have a satin or frosted finish. The texture of them is great and they are easy to blend.

I like Gold Souk, Sultan's Garden, Simbad's Seas and Valley of Diamonds a lot. I'm very happy with this purchase. And I can't wait to use green with blue and add some gold or aubergine to it. Lots of combinations are possible with this palette! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Anastasia Beverly Hills - Part 2 : The Amrezy Palette

Hello Chicas,

Here comes part 2 of my Anastasia Beverly Hills post, this time I'm showing you the eyeshadow palette I bought ^^

The Amrezy palette is an eyeshadow palette with 10 shades selected by the wonderful, amazing and world known MUA Amra Olevic better known as Amrezy, and produced by ABH! If you don't know her, you definitively missed something in life, follow her Instagram account @amrezy and check out her blogger page: glamrezy.blogspot.com :D

It's a good mix of matte and shimmery neutral colors, the upper eyeshadow row are all shimmery eyeshadows and the lower eyeshadows are all matte. The range of colors is exactly the kind of range I personally often go for. It has two light colors, that could translate a bit more thought, warm colors that are stunning, and some pop of color with a purple and a green color.

The palette has a really cool leopard print cover and a mirror under the lid. It also comes with a double sided brush which I already managed to loose xD Yes, true story!

All-in-all the shades have a good pigmentation and transfer easily to a makeup brush. The formula is a bit buttery and creamy, but with very little fall-out. They apply easily and blend out flawlessly, except Deep Plum and LBD, they are a bit harder to blend.

SWATCHES

My favorite colors of this palette are Glisten, Topaz, Caramel, Morocco & Deep Plum

Vanilla could be more pigmented thought, and I'm not totally satisfied how Iridescent Purple and Emerald turn out on the lid.

This palette is 29 $, I bought mine directly from the Anastasia Beverly Hills website. International shipping is a bit expensive with 18 $ but it arrives in about 12 days. I'm so happy with this palette, I reached out for it almost every day since I got it. Big thumps and congratulations to Amrezy for this creation, great collaboration with ABH!!!

EOTD

I also created for you one of my favorite looks from this palette to give you a clue what the colors look like applied.

I already showed you how I did my eyebrows and which foundation I used on my skin in my previous post. So I primed my eyes with Clarins Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base Primer, 'TOPAZ' on the lid, 'VANILLA' on the tear duct and under my eyebrow, 'MOROCCO' in the crease and 'DEEP PLUM' under the lower lash line up to the crease and slightly blended in the crease with 'MOROCCO'.

Sephora long-lasting eye liner on the upper lash line and along half of the lower lash line, then I blended the lower line with a pointed brush out.

And if you prefer more a winged eyeliner look you can do what ever look you like more. To make this look even more perfect I also added a beige eyeliner on my waterline but you can also go with a white eyeliner and of course mascara, Artdeco Wonder Lash mascara..

I hope you like what I came up to with. Let me know what your thoughts are about this palette!!!

Soon more post about more Anastasia products to follow ;)

With Love,

IrSaDa
